They're pretty snug but I don't feel like they're going to break. I try to use even pressure on both sides pushing with my thumb nail on each end and it goes on and off pretty well that way!

Dang I've heard a few people saying that now and it seems like there might be some batches that have this issue while other kits are fine. If it's that bad, I'd consider reaching out to DJI for a replacement! I definitely don't have THAT much trouble.

The same happens to me. Every time I have to remove the adapters, I'm afraid of breaking them. And this happens every time they are used, since I have to put them back in the case for them to get charged. I am considering buying an usb-c to lightning cable just to get rid of those pesky adaptors.

It's super simple. All you have to do is leave the other one in the case and it stays disconnected. You'll only see the active one show up on the receiver screen. That is often how I use this kit!

So I plugged it in to my Note 9 today and it worked right away. I had it turned on first before attaching it and when I recorded some video, it popped up saying “recording audio through USB device”.

It's actually very secure with the adapters, I am glad that you don't have to use any cables, those would just make the setup more cumbersome. The load with my iPhone 13 Pro doesn't cause any issues with the OM 5 gimbal. I am going to do a video on the gimbal use with the microphone/receiver too.

I was able to slide it either way with my Canon SL2, even with the clip facing the "wrong" direction: ru-vid.comwVjaUBQmsDU

The magnet is actually really strong on regular shirts and I have no worries of it ever falling off. If you have it on a jacket or thicker hoodie, you may be able to knock it off I guess but I am very confident in it staying on throughout all of my uses with it so far. If you do drop it, it does not seem to be cheap in the build quality.

Hey, yes I can confirm that would work - I just tested with an iPhone 13 Pro. I used a TRS to TRRS cable from the receiver to a Movo iPhone adapter cable into the iPhone. So basically two cables to connect to the iPhone. You can also hand a weighted bag, backpack, or something from the bottom of the tripod to support it otherwise. A phone mount with a cold shoe mount would be nice for the receiver to keep things tidy if you go the wired route. @@ConciseTechTV thanks for your advise and quick answer. 👍🏻 another option I’ve thought of is a lightning male to female, still using the iPhone adaptor in the receiver, then put the receiver into a clear waterproof bag & just have it hanging. I’m assuming that would work to. I do like the soft shoe idea best though

Yeah that clip is definitely the most confusing and least robust of all the attachments.

We left it on for a month and then needed to put on the cell phone attachment, so I bought ANOTHER shoe (just in case I broke the first one) and mentally prepared myself to breaking the hinge on the stuck one. I pulled on the hinge part harder than I was comfortable with not an ounce of success and then moved on to pushing the shoe with my thumb and it slid right out! Took two of us, one small dent on the reciever from my finger nail, one month of waiting, one additional purchase of a shoe that ended up not being needed, multiple feelings of frustration, hopeless (JK), despair (JK), nervousness, multiple attack angles and pops right off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
