Thank you for your quick easy to follow instructions. I just bought this and wasn't sure how to use it. Now I feel I know what to do.

Thank you for the great review. I’m going to pick on up for me manual wheelchair. To be able to dial in the perfect tire pressure is going to be so helpful.

That’s pretty cool. I like the idea of the pressure release valve. Nice video!

This thing is awesome. My digital gauge I use for the car died, so I used that excuse to spend $37 on this one. I needed to get finer readings for my MTB tires because it does make a huge difference IMHO. Current huge volume tires are really sensitive to pressure changes. KInda expensive, but for what bike (and its tires) cost now is a drop in the bucket. I'm here because the instructions were lacking. It also warns against humidity, jarring, and MAGNET exposure, so its not something you're going to want to carry in your pack.

Wow, with those restrictions, it almost sounds like this is intended to be a shop tool that lives on a bench rather than something to be used on the road. That's a pretty significant detriment in my opinion.

Nice Review! I will have to look into getting one of those. Believe it or not, on my 27.5x2.8s, I typically run around 12-15psi, but I would recommend rim inserts at those pressures.

BTW...Congrats on your 2k Subs! I'm getting closer to my 1k, but unless I make a "breakthru vid", I likely won't reach my New Years goal.

Thank you. Keep going I really enjoy your videos. And that is super low psi. That is like super grip level.

I just got one , although it’s not too hard to figure out . The instructions for it is completely useless so thank you for the explanation of the device .

As long as you have access to the valve

What about clogging from sealant?
@RunBikeMike
@RunBikeMike 2 года назад
I haven’t had any issues with that. If you turn your wheel so the valve is at 3 or 9 o’clock you should get any sealant coming out.

They should've paid you to include this video in the package. The directions they give are scant and hard to follow. Well done. I just tried mine, before watching this video, but it didn't give a reading. I'll give it another shot. When I switch between the two valve types, nothing visible happens on the head, so I wonder what that switch is doing.

how do you know its off, how do you know the D2 is accurate?
@zachmoir
@zachmoir 4 месяца назад
I don't believe it's that accurate. It was way off in comparison to my other trusted tire pressure readers. I hope there's a way I can calibrate this thing.

Do you still use it? Is it durable? I heard that it breaks easly and better option is to pick SKS airchecker.

I use it before every ride. No issues other than a dead battery every so often

@@RunBikeMike well then i will leave to myself. I will give the sks to my father because i ordered both 😂. For my use which is check the tire pressure in my car will be plenty.

My team bontragear tyres is recomended between 30-50 psi... That is very high isnt it???
@RunBikeMike
@RunBikeMike 3 года назад
Yeah that is high for a mtb. I would say a very rocky trail I would run maybe 26 at the highest but most of the time I ride with 22 upfront and 23 in the back.

@@robertkarlsson7238 I have wonder the same thing. I don’t know if it is a standard thing for tire makers to do. Thanks for the sub :)
@Durwood71

You want to be careful running tubes at too low pressure because you can end up pinching the tube between the tire and rim and puncturing it.
@dallase1
@dallase1 Год назад
For 32 bucks it should have a back light and be Incremented at better than whole numbers when in PSI Mode, it should at least be by .5 or even better .1. It's Digital so it should be more precise.
@dallase1
@dallase1 Год назад
Why do you have to mash that tune button to get it in "live reading" mode? Why add that extra step? Why not just have it change modes when you press the pressure release button ?
@RunBikeMike
@RunBikeMike Год назад
All good questions. Possibly message the company to see why they made the choice to do the extra step.
