How to use USB Flash Drive as a RAM in Windows 10
Hi friends, here I showed up in this video how to use a USB flash drive as a RAM in Windows computer and also today I’m going to unboxing and quick review of Kingston 64gb USB 3.0 flash drive and a Type-C OTG USB flash drive adapter.
The USB flash drive’s brand is Kingstone, Model Name is Data Traveler 50
Storage capacity 64 GB.
Supported port: USB 3.1 generation 1 Type-A, 3.0 and 2.0 backwards compatible. The drive is also customizable.
Supported OS: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 (SP1), Windows Vista (SP2), Mac OS X version 10.7.x and higher version, Linux version 2.6.x and higher version and Chrome OS, as you can see.
This USB Flash Drive comes with 5 years limited warrant.
The Type-C OTG USB flash drive adapter’s Brand is Spectrum,
This Type-C OTG USB flash drive is suitable for smart phones, Type-C supportable laptops, MacBook, Type-C supportable digital camera and other Type-C supportable external devices, as like external HDD or SSD. but It does not support computer transfer.

@@alibal6893 2 months ago i cracked windows and made my own os over it so i can use over 3 petabyte of ram. Sinds then i started a website where people can download free ram. It went really wel after some time other people did the exact same but people didnt believe them and said they where making virussus and my website went down. Its still up on some places but not as big. Now i can open 4 crome tabs at once after downloading all the free ram from internet. I dont know why but is i open task manager i see like 20 operation open saying mining crypto can someine explane what that is

it seems if I lower my space to reserver for system speed lower, I get more space on the USB.. but that is not what you did in the video? Am I missing something here

Does not work. Purchased Kingston DT100G3/64GB , plugged in to my windows 10 Sony vaio duo laptop with i7 processor. But, in the properties of the USB, there is no "ReadyBoost" Tab. What to do ? Please advice.

HELP! I tried to save some important files to my flash drive while it was in ReadyBoost mode, I cut and paste them as usual and it took a few seconds which made me think nothing was any different, then when I went to go open them elsewhere but it was just the shortcut file icon only, empty, same as my soul when I realized :( :( :( PLEASE HELP, HOW CAN I RECOVER???

I'm also curious. Also, what kinds of connectors for a wider range of storage options, as well as which stats are most important, like size vs write speed. My guess is that size is raw performance, but a shit write speed can bottleneck. Ports might also bottleneck, for example I see SD cards being used often, cause they have good connector protocol. Would a usb3.0 attached to a beefy external drive work?

Yes, You can you SD cards micro SD in a card reader for ready boost i been doing it for years, but it is not ready boost is not using SD card or USB as ram it's just Virtual ram file paging. You can also Go in Virtual memory settings and set virtual memory paging files to a SD card or usb drive for virtual memory. But ready boost works more like a Extended CPU cache memory it dose not really boost anything much. im using a 64 gig SD card on USB 2.0 bus and its only using 4 gigs of it turned up to max. computer still crawling and lagging.

Hi , do you have any video in which a RAM lying around unused but functional can be converted into external RAM in place of USB drive. I hope it is going to be faster than USB. Are you aware of any convertor that will allow us to make use of any of DDR RAM.

Hi, I can't do this cause readyboost says that my PC is fast enough, I tried some ways to solve my problem such as using regedit.exe by win+R and system by win+R but they all need a folder to be deleted by me but in there there's no folder with that name. I'm using win10 Home with 8GB Ram and SSD Driver, Please help me 🙏

This device cannot be used for readyboost. Readyboost is not enabled because this computer is fast enough that readyboost is unlikely to provide additional benefit I can not play on bluestack :( Lack of Ram problem

First format your usb disk as NTFS after that go to properties of the usb disk then press readyboost

You may disable (SysMain) from services -search services in start and click on it , then go to SysMain , right clickon it then choose start , then Readyboost will work

Yes bcuz the virtual memory added to the USB drive will be gone if you ejected it (but it will still be there in the flash drive) Which means slower computer performance...

Yeah, it's basically Window's response for the swap partition of Linux; Linux does it better because of its ext4 format type... The only downside is that any device has a limit for a number of reading/writing... I guess they calculate it for about 10years during production, but even if you abuse it like nothing else, 2 years should still hold... So check out details on how to set up hdd, sdd space for memory usage, it isn't hard...

@@Singh_parminder after learning that using flash drives as ram kills them faster I stopped and accepted my fate. The only way to get more ram is to buy a new PC lol. Or get rid of all the useless apps
