Everything we do in life starts with your hands. It’s time to play golf with the best you have, your hands.
Let me help you get a effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook. I call it a circle of speed.
Long and straight is every ones goal but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill.
Golf technique is hard to understand but you don’t need to understand everything. Try to focus on the basics. Face, swingpath and impact is what you need to practice to play good golf. Make it personal and solv your problems.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.
Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Marcus, thank you so much for putting in all the hard work you do to bring us this great instruction. I found your channel 5 days ago and have been hitting my irons like never before. I now understand and know where my club head is during the swing. Before, when pulling the club I had no idea! Have not tried driver yet. Thanks again, I appreciate what you are doing!

I cannot believe this guy does not have a million subscribers. my whole game has moved forward so much since finding his channel. At least we have a head start on the rest until they find him.
@WorldsBestWingman
I have learnt more in the last week watching your videos than I have learnt in the last 50 years. You are a Master and making what was abstract for me simple and straight forward. Huge thank you again....

@macleryy
I did try this before on my own instinct and the pull was a draw and the push a fade. Weird
@samjohnston61
Interestingly my push swing contact is better and more consistent then pull swing......not sure why except the push feels more athletic

Hi Marcus - I’m struggling to push down with my trail hand as the palm of my hand overlays my lead hand thumb. If I hold it like a hockey stick with hands separate then I can feel the push but otherwise problematic. Any suggestions?

Please show your grip up close and how you place them on the handle. Thank you 🙏

Amazes me how many ways you are able to demonstrate the importance of arm hand coordination in the swing, and the rewards for dedicated practice

Marcus, the way you teach has earned you another subscriber. I look forward to this journey with you.

when I started playing golf 22 years ago as a 26 handicap, my first instructor said "hands lead, body follows" Very few instructors adhere to that principle and if you watch slow mo videos, it always looks like lower body initiates downswing.I never think lower body but its available to follow hands through shot. I'm now 5 handicap. As RIGHT HAND golfer, fast hands with pushing action at top of swing throws my trail, right hand/ shoulder "over" naturally because that is how the right shoulder works anatomically. A soft ,gentle PULLING or frisbie throwing or dropping motion of left hand at top of swing should allow inside out swing [ if you dont spin lower body] because that is how left hand, shoulder works anatomically .At the end of the day, you have to trust easy, soft downswing with hands in a split second and it's ALL RELATED to timing, tempo and how body-mind feels that day. I spray, push, pull balls all over course on full swings 70% of time because of "trail" side being the strongest part of my body. I have great sand, chip,putt

Good video, I have been working on this without really thinking about my hands. I think this will be much better. Thanks.

The pull has long been my nemesis. And I always feel jammed coming through impact with a poor follow-through. Went through your five part series and:) hit gorgeous baby draws; 2.) body moved much better through impact; 3.) follow-through “just happened.”

Following your videos and using a short training club to go through the motions. I normally hit 270 yard drives sometimes to 300. My normal shot shape is draw with pushes on occasion but my bad shot is a pull hook. I understand your concepts and trying to incorporate them in my swing. We got a break in the weather so I hit the driving range. Nice powerful draws one after the other was the result on the driver. I hit two pull draws but recovered on the next shot. Thank you so much looking forward to next season.
