You have a fantastic catalog of golf videos. I can't understand why you only have 3.5k subscribers? With this content it should be 3.5 million. I feel badly for the golfers who haven't discovered your channel yet. Thanks for the help!
I swung the club like this when I first started golfing at 12. I have gone down so many rabbit holes in search of getting better that I completely lost my way. At 67 you have given me a renewed enthusiasm for the game. I wish I could meet you in person for a lesson. I made a $75 thanks, but my comment was lost as I thought it didn't go through. Thank you, sir!
Thanks Mike. I know that many golfers end up as you do and it's great to bring out the fun parts again. Hopefully one day I can travel and teach in the states. I love to meet you and thank you in person. 👍
Thanks! These videos have helped me more than my golf lessons... and I have taken a lot of lessons. Your explanations and golf wisdom is priceless to golfers out there... so appreciative to have found your channel
Stable club face is what I focus on but it’s good to know that when your practicing with a hooded club face what actually happens to the golf ball in its trajectory and spin! Sometimes you can utilize that shot in game scenarios. Great vid Marcus!
I have to say I just found you and started watching your very logical approach to golf…I watched other “pro” instruction but I have to say you are the best so far. I took your protocols on the swing to the range and worked on your principals….unfortunately I had to play in 20mph winds yesterday, started off badly, but slowly the protocols crept in…and I was amazed with the results..particularly into the wind…thank you for a common sense approach to a difficult game.
Hey Marcus-are those your dogs who snuck into that video (out on the left side of the fairway)? Ha-great cameo appearances-really spiced the video up!!!! :-)
@@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Great looking course you have there-love the woods--and the wildlife!!. I sent you a note to info- power golf e-mail address and also on Facebook messenger---its about some possible lessons---Thanks Dave K
great contents, for me the pushing feeling doesn't work espically swinging from the inside. throwing the club and exaggerat the inisde and just let it out OUT into swing path. Definelty agree on experimenting swing both fade and draw to feel what is correct
Please excuse me if I’m wrong but that first shot went left for you. Wouldn’t that be a fade for a lefty and a slight draw or push for me as a righty? 🤷♂️👨🦳
I notice your trail arm elbow points down to the ground and doesn't point back behind you. Can you do a video on the position of the trail arm position at the top... my elbow points behind me...otherwise I dont' hit it far. But its stressful on my shoulder
Thanks, having watched some of your videos and trying to implement what you say I hit a net 65 to win my club’s medal last week. Best round in 2 years and I’m now full of confidence!
Foot stance straight to slightly open for a draw. If I have to hit a fade I mostly use an open stance. Shoulders are harder to say because it depends on the shot I want to hit.
Also, with an open stance to promote the draw, should you keep the club face square to the target? I use an open stance and face square to the target but can’t get the ball to draw unless I play it back further, which also gives me more distance. With this setup even though my club speed is low I get PGA level smash factors for irons, probably because I am essentially delofting the club
@@ralphsomack7110 You are only delofting the club if you are hitting it lower. I have the ball more back than normal to suit my late body turn but I still hit high. Try to. find what works for you. To draw the ball and invite the push from your trail side it's good to open the stance and the ball not further forward than the middle will help you with path. The draw will appear when you release the club (push) early enough.
