I haven't washed a bike with anything but a light spray cleaner (Meguire's EZ Clean) and a microfiber cloth in over 10 years. I will not put a hose on anything. And if I do end up in a rainy situation, I take the wheels off and clean the wheel hubs and apply new lube to the chain and axles.

Cover the exhaust end.. especially if you washing it after a ride and storing it away.

Hey, steal two screws from the compartment under your rear seat, you can use those for where you removed the front reflectors, then put those stand-offs in where you stole the screws from.

Wash and re lube the chain after washing the bike as the soap 9/10 is a degreaser and will damage the chain links but other than that mint bike man

You forgot about break cleaner... I dont know if its really important but you should clean tge brakes... Also never spray it on the brakes!!! Spray some on a rug or microfiber cleaning cloth the wipe the breaks then use a papertowel

i bought a used bike and when i have it on the stands i noticed the front wheel brake is barely touching the rotor as i spin the wheel freely. I feel like thats not normal, does any one know whats wrong with it?

do not use the high pressure cleaner on your bike! thats what they told me at the bike dealers.

Nope they are designed to get wet in the rain. As long as you are not directing super high pressure onto them the seals will not let any water in.

I use a leaf blower which disperses the water really well. This is the best way to avoid rust.

charles d'Avoine ya man I hated those things, I had them slip from under me couple of times, it was pretty sketchy. Unfortunately I want be able to change them out because I did get rid of the bike couple of days ago, my new bike has Michelin road pilot 3. What is your opinion on them should I swap them or leave them ?
