I love that your niche is for men of modest height (5'8 and under), but the majority of your information is useful regardless of size and stature. I'm 5'10 so Im not tall, nor am I short....but I learn just as much from your channel as I do from Alpha M, and RMRS...keep up the great work brother
Thanks, Amir! Yeah I think most men can benefit from most of my content. I have a sweet spot for the shorter guys (like myself), but a lot of it is about build, not just height. You can be tall and skinny, and you need to pay attention to some of the same stuff as a short and skinny guy. Every man needs to understand fit, color, proportion, etc. Thanks for watching!
youre not short, youre still gonna be called short though. I'm 6ft myself which is the "magic number" but I'm still called short and that I'm 5ft 11 or 5ft 10 when ppl be hating or when I was in my fat phase which makes ppl look shorter
You really killed that 3rd outfit. I took some inspiration from it myself and absolutely loved the result. I used a different color for the shirt, but I wore a grey vest like you and swapped the field jacket for a navy windbreaker (not as sporty as a lot of other windbreakers, but a windbreaker nonetheless)
Another great video Brock, entertaining and informative! I've been meaning to try out Tailor Store because I need that all important staple, the solid white dress shirt but have gone back and forth between going this route or getting the Peter Manning version. I'm sure both are solid options ultimately, but which way would you go?
That's a tough call. Have you tried a PMNYC shirt? If so (and it fit) I'd say go with them, just because MTM is hard to get right the first time. Then again, Tailor Store has an awesome fit guarantee. You really can't lose either way. If you plan on ordering more shirts in the future, it's worth nailing down your fit with a MTM company, assuming you can't find shirts that fit well elsewhere (like PM).
The Modest Man None of their shirts, however I did just invest in their Fulton Wool Topcoat in Grey , Size 2 which fits me incredibly well and looks/ feels amazing!
Glad to hear that! Considering the coat fits well and (I think) they have free returns, I think you should try their shirts before going MTM. Either way, let me know how it goes.
Thanks for the video once again! I'd like some help with the shirt-sweater style. When I layer s shirt under a sweater, most of the times I feel it uncomfortable, like it's too tight and too hot. Should I use a sweater one size larger than normal? Is that the trick? Also, does it matter if the shirt is flannel, dress, oxford etc? Thanks in advance, have a nice day :)
It's all relative. For some people, this is very inexpensive. For others, it's totally out of reach. Either way, though, it's a great price for a custom shirt of this quality.
I was looking for a video like this. Thank you so much for this informative video. Outfit 2 is clean! Love that combo with the quarter zip...any affordable options?
Can you do a video about where you get jackets (outerwear) for short guys? I know there's petermanning, but what else is there? For example, the jacket you are wearing in this video (blue one).
