Oh these instructions are so helpful. Just got them delivered, really happy. I can definitely see the wire, so I have to work on layering over this. I am Indian and I chose Off black. Perfect color, there is however one gray hair in the extension haha. I tried it on, and my natural hair is a little wavy so it doesn't look totally right yet, but I will straighten my hair first and then try it on again. Excited to take them for a spin for a night out this week!!

I am so excited to get my Halo extensions!! I lost lots of hair from Covid and Luxy has been such a self esteem booster big time! I had to start with clip ins, but I am now 2 Luxy ponytails (16 and 20 inches) 2 sets of clip ins (one seamless and one regular) the hair bun (which is amazing!) and now the halo! How obvious is the little bit of wire that’s exposed on the side part? Is there a way to fully cover it?

It won't be obvious at all if applied correctly. After you apply the Halo, the weight of your hair laying on top will also help keep the wire in place and conceal it. 💗

Halo is ideal for fine hair because there are less things you need to cover with hair (ie. clip-ins). The wire is quite thin so it is easy to conceal with your natural hair, even if you don't have too much of it. Halo is also very light on your scalp/head. Hope this helps :)

Our Halo sets can be custom-dyed a darker color by an experienced colorist. We do not suggest bleaching our Luxies, as bleaching may damage the hair. 💗

I’ve been wearing Lucy hair for awhile now. I had always had long thick hair and when extensions started getting really popular, I saw some pretty janky ones. I’m sure everyone has seen some that you just almost want to stop the woman and say….Honey, you need to #1. Go back to the basics, and read and watch all of the “how to’s you can, b/c you NEED to LEARN HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY! 😂 and then #2. Just make Luxy Hair your One Stop Shop for extensions…And you’ll be good to go.! Love, Love, Love them! As I said, I never needed them most of my life. But then I got really sick with a few things, then came the terrible side effects. And some of the worst…devastating loss of the hair that had basically been my identity for so long. I am NOT being sappy here, I am SO VERY THANKFUL that I found Luxy Hair!! Some things health wise are better, and some NOT, BUT….Some only know if I tell them, b/c Luxy has changed my life in regards to my “hair identity “. So THANK YOU Luxy Hair! And thanks for this new video about putting in the halo. Cheers everyone !

That looks like a lot of hair, but don’t be fooled. Even the two clip pieces have so much hair attached but the ones they send out are ridiculously tiny 😜 Luxy used to be expensive but for really good quality, now it’s just expensive. Maybe they’ll see this and step up the game

I've never ordered these or even seen any in real life but I can't imagine how the wire wouldn't show up. My hair is thinning already so I don't know if I have that much hair to sufficiently cover the wire and not have to worry about it. I'm probably going to go with the clip ins.

I know this is an old question but you can use that root spray used to cover grey hair. Just spray a bit of it on top and the wire disappears.

We do not recommend getting Luxies bleached, as bleaching is a harmful process that will alter the quality of your set. wash the hair first, if u wash ur hair extensions first it will usually thicken them up. then, take all the hair underneath and pin or braid it underneath so u dont have to deal with trying to blend all that hair and leave a small section on top to cover the extensions. hope this helps :)

We generally suggest washing your Luxies every 30 wears or so, with alcohol-free and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. 💗

You customize the wire length to your hair so it fits snug on your head. As well, there are 2 clips at the back of the weft so it's secure. 💗

I worried it will slip off because i have high hairline with small round head and hairbands wont stay , headband wont stay, head towels wont stay so in worried this will slip off for me

Can you wear them while swimming?? 🌊🌊 I'm making a clip-in mermaid hair accessory that borders the head in a similar way the halo wire does. I was thinking it could add some grip on the hair. Would this work?

We do not suggest to wear our Halo or clip-ins when swimming, as the hair may tangle more easily with your natural hair. 💗

We suggest our Halo for thin/medium thickness hair that is at least shoulder-length long. For thick hair, we do suggest our 220g set or our Volume Bundle to blend in naturally. 💗
