I agree with you. You just have to know your body and what you look good in and invest in well made pieces. Everything that is old will be new again at some point. I have a small frame and boxy cuts do not suit me. I could never pull off those big cowboy style jeans

It's kind of amusing when our fashion masters declare something "dead" when clearly people are not done with it. I remember they prematurely declared the gladiator sandal "over" too - they actually were around for a few years afterwards. If it's something people like and like to wear it is hard to talk them out of it.

Great video Ziba. Full of great information and inspirational outfits. When it comes to wearing my knee high boots I want the skinny jeans option instead of just leggings. To me, one of the worst looks is stuffing baggy jeans into your knee high boots. It makes you look like a pirate. Nothing against pirates, but I just don't care to look like one. Loved seeing you slide around with your children. Ty so much.

I love the way Celine styled skinny jeans for the 2023/2024 Fall/Winter with knee high boots and Faux Fur coats. I also love black and white jeans with knee high boots. I also love the western look with skinny jeans and western boots, and a fringe jacket. I just picked up a dark brown fringe jacket.

I used to be a very heavy set guy who would have looked ridiculous wearing skinny jeans. After I lost a ton of weight in the late 2010's I went on a buying spree of skinny and slim cut jeans because for the first time I could actually pull them off, To this day it's all I wear pretty much. I have a couple of pair of boot cuts for when I am actually wearing boots, but other than that it is skinny cut or (though they are hard to find now except on Ebay) "super skinny" cut. I might be out of style, but I have never gotten over my fixation with wearing them so I will continue to rock it.

Of course, i still wear them, especially with oversize sweater or loose blouse :) I wear them usually in winter with boots. For summer i prefer boyfriend or straight leg :) thank you for video!

They are called skinny jeans so you can wear them. But for people with thick legs and small to non existent thigh gaps they should have never been worn.

@@ZibaLennox well darker shades are definitely more slimming. Buy as far as skinny jeans go I feel that darker rinses are the way to go if you want to wear them in a “dressy way” and that light colored ones are best for outfits that look more casual. But of course there’s always exceptions.

Honestly I don’t care if my clothes look dated. The only reason there are fashion trends in the first place is because the fashion industry depends on it. ($$$)
