My amp has a remote turn signal when you wire with the hi level inputs, I didn’t know that until I read the owner manual

I plan on going with this setup. Couple questions. Does adjusting the bass level from the head unit work on the sub? Will it change the levels for the speakers and the sub simultaneously?

Adjusting the amplitude will impact both yes. This is where sub amp tuning comes into play.

This video is exactly what I was looking for. One thing I need to clear in this video is did you use Pyle plvhl70 or Pac Tr-4 or both devices? If you use only one, what would you recommend. Also it was a very good idea to put 4x6 Infinity speakers instead of 4 inch. I ordered exactly same speaker also. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can order one of those two little devices. Thank you for your good information

How slim does a sub need to be to fit behind the seat? I started to look around at some of the Lanzar and other models of all-in-one setups. Just not sure how deep it can be.

Does adding the amp and sub drain a noticeable amount of energy from the battery? Wondering if it would reduce the distance of running in pure EV mode. Thanks

If you had your music up at a high volume I imagine it could have some impact but to me the impact has been minimal. The air conditioning is noticeable I can't tell with the stereo on or off a difference

The battery is directly grounded to chassis, so it doesn't matter.

No need to purchase, and run a second wire as well as fish it through everything. The chassis and battery negative are equal and directly connected. A positive wire to the amplifier bypasses any fused circuits, as well as ensures you are receiving clean power directly from the battery safely. In this car, the battery just happens to be in a very handy spot to install a subwoofer.

hey bro you have a way to increase power in a hybrid system? You can't upgrade the alternator obviously because there isn't one. I've got a hybrid sound system and it won't live up to it's potential until i can figure out how to get more power.

You could use a capacitor and outside of that go ahead and charge your 12v battery woth a charger once a week.

What is your remote wire tied to? That needs to be tied to something that only turns on when car is on that way you don't drain your battery. The remote wire is the signal that tells your amp when to turn on.

Is it easier (or preferable) to wire the powered sub into the front speakers or the rear speakers? My plan is to buy a Kicker Hideaway subwoofer and install it right away, but I'm just wondering as to which speaker set (front vs rear) is "better"? Thank you

Not sure that it really matters but rear is more typical as subs usually end up in rear. If you have component setup in front with tweeters that could mess things up too.

Front. Some people have said the rears have an attenuated bass signal at higher volumes for the maverick.

Pretty sure all powered subwoofers automatically turn on and off when tied into the high level inputs to just one rear speaker needed. Why all these other devices and remote wires needed?

Some newer models do that. Many do not. Also you want both so that you get tunes from L & R channels

Technically you only need 1 speaker, but it's nice to have L And R channels

I'm desperate to identify the speaker wire colors for each side of the rear, you showed that you had your wires tapped into the speaker wires but didn't show them, do you remember what colors each side rear speaker wires were?

No. Usually the soldered tabs are slightly different in size. That can help you atleast make sure you have the same from each speaker.
