Looking for a straight answer on what the KEY ON ENGINE OFF (not running) Fuel Pressure Sensor reading is supposed to be (on a real scan tool) for and LBZ and LMM when the sensor is working correctly. Is it Zero (0.0 Psi)? Or is it supposed to read something?
Not sure in the but that won't do much for you in terms of telling you anything significant. What you really need to do is a return test to see how much fuel os being returned. Basically when the injector nozzles get worn, they return too much fuel and the pump can't keep the fuel rail to the commanded pressure. It will still have good pressure, just not the commanded pressure. The deviation from actual vs commanded at a certain threshold will have the truck throw the code. When the fuel returns it also heats up and thins out making it even harder. 90% of the time when you pull this code it means it's time for new injectors even though your rig may run great.
@@JCTFIXIT yes, here is the problem: I ca “force” my bake function to work if I turn on the top gas burners, but I get F-09 if I try the bake function without the top burners. Can this be circuit board issue as well ?
@@JCTFIXIT RU-vid it.. you add a large o gage or big wire from your alternator to your positive on battery. Then you run a negative from your battery to the frame of vehicle and then you run a cable from engine block to frame of vehicle and by doing that you updated your vehicles electrical system which at that point you can have great safe power for running a audio system including subwoofers and amp... Because it's takes a lot of amps and it could kill your battery.
I have a factory sub in my trunk as well. I just tap the speaker wires between the amp and the factory sub? I would love to not have to open my dash. On my amps manual it says to connect speaker outputs from receiver to high level input connector of amplifier. I could go into my dash and do that?
Thanks for the video, I just installed a 75 inch tv with this mount and I noticed I can turn it left or right to make it level almost as if something was loose, do you know how I can tighten it so it stays level all the time?
There are nuts that need to be tightened to ensure this. I would recommend some medium strength threadlocker on this nuts. When you get a big tv and you move it, it kinda acts as a lever on the pilot point making it harder to lock the pivot point down since very little force from the edge of your TV equals a lot of force at the central pivot.
@@JCTFIXIT the left side of the stock subwoofer has a black wire and a green with red stripes wire. On the right side of the subwoofer there is a yellow wire with red stripes and a red wire with blue stripes.
Your wording is a little confusing. Without knowing your setup, it's hard to say. Generally though on an amp, the rca inputs are for signals that are low and not being driven already. High level inputs are called such because they can handle a higher watt load incoming into the amp.
I already replaced the front door speakers. Kind of torn if I should replace the tweeters first or the rear speakers... Which makes a bigger difference in your opinion?
Pretty sure all powered subwoofers automatically turn on and off when tied into the high level inputs to just one rear speaker needed. Why all these other devices and remote wires needed?
What that sticky stuff is is, FRICTION TAPE. 100 years ago when man first discovered electricity friction tape was developed to act as an electrical tape. Unlike the PVC electrical tape of today, friction tape has no adhesive it is just a little sticky to stick to itself. This is what our great great grandads used. I am amazed it is still around but I guess for whatever reason, Ford finds it necessary to use it here & there. !
Nice and clean both surfaces with razor nice bead around bolt holes mate together and nip up then tighten stop using gaskets on alloy sump s bit of a pain 😢
Amazing...had the code today, had no idea what it meant...stumbled onto your clip and it was a easy fix. Clogged pump! Very much appreciated, thank YOU
If your car has a factory amp wouldn’t that be playing low end from your cars amp into the amp your adding? Someone told me I shouldn’t do this but I don’t see really why not when I’ve seen others do stuff like this. My car has a factory amp that uses the rear 6x9’s for bass. Would it be ok if I do this on my car like you did yours? I’m guessing your car has a factory amp which means you tapped into the low end speaker in your car to give your amp an input from your factory stereo.
People recommend not doing this because your amp can prefilter the frequencies for your stock sub that may or may not allow your new aftermarket sub to reproduce to its full capability.
I’m thinking about adding a powered subwoofer to my car trunk. I take it i’d follow similar steps you did? Also, it looks like you tapped twice into your speaker? Is that right?
Stupid question but i have to ask since I searched and searched and got nothing. The wires you used in the speaker input to tap into the factory sub, are they normal run of the mill speaker wires or is it a special adapter of some kind?
@@JCTFIXIT I'm just wanting to add movement up and down, left and right, but I don't need the luxury of folding mirrors. I just don't want manual mirrors if I don't have to live in the stone age 😂
