Hello everyone! After posting my previous Research Paper "How To" Video, I always wanted to create a video which discusses shorter timelines. I hope this is helpful for you! (btw I know some of you may say I talk fast, unfortunately this is just the way that I talk. Please use the captions and slowing feature, or pause when needed) Xx Kaelyn
Kaelyn, this is 🔥🔥🔥. Jam packed full of helpful tips, I absolutely loved this video. I have to say, while I don't personally have a last-minute assignment to do right now (I'm knee deep in an analysis part of my overall project, and its slow) it was still so helpful to watch a condensed research guide, to remind me of the bigger picture. Thank you for this!
Some great tips, thank you! When I'm tight on time, I definitely fish the bibliographies of the first few books/articles I grab to select the most relevant additional books/articles to grab as well as using search terms in the way you suggested. I'm trying to move away from the last minute writing I've always done, but it's such a tough habit to break when the procrastinator in me thrives on it so much!
Great tips! I used note cards and hand wrote my historiographical paper this semester and found that writing each sources argument on the notecards helped me think about what I wanted to say when I typed my paper later.
These are really good tips. I definitely agree that you should not wait until the last two days to write a paper, though. As someone with an undergraduate degree in history, I recommend at least two weeks for a paper. You want to read your sources thoroughly and also have time to edit etc. Here's another tip: start writing your papers early on in the term (if possible) so that when you get to the end of the semester, you won't have as much work to do.
I did a duel credit English class in high school but now after a few years of college, I have finally taken a class where an essay is due and I have completely forgot how to write. Thanks for this! 😅
Kaelyn!!! You must be reading my mind 😆 I recently made a goal to complete my very first manuscript over this winter break! Thank you so much for this amazing content 💖
People say you talk too fast? Not so my friend! Also, girl, I got 10 days to write a research paper, taking a position on a topic that is essentially moot! I have no starting point and no desire to do it because of the prompt 😆🤦🏼♀️
Love this video kaeyln. Its so reassuring. Having to write two papers for my exams in just 24 hours is hard but you have calmed the thoughts no end. Thank you
I found very interesting you content here. Even I was looking for thesis statement's info, I learned some steps about how to write a research paper... jejjeje! thanks for sharing. (*.-)
I am a pharm D student (in Pakistan, Islamabad) currently in the 5th semester. Actually I want to publish one research paper along with Pharm D .So that after pharmacy I have one research published of my own so that i could step towards Phd studies on that basis. But I have not much guidance and along with that I alone can't write it. Is anyone interested in this?So that We can start to write it.
I showed them my bachelors, my masters, my toefl, my duolingo, my gate score, gave them research proposal, gave them everything I could, still they dont give me funding. NewCastle University.
