In this quick little video I show you guys the way I like to zero my red dot / optic on my rifle set-up. I use the Romeo MSR from Sig Sauer and I pair it with the Juliet 3x also made by Sig Sauer. The method that I use is quick and easy and hopefully it'll help you guys zero your optic so that you can get the most out of your purchase. Be easy and stay safe out there guys.
Quick and easy method to accurately center or adjust your red dot.

I'm confused. So, you're shooting 4" lower than where you're aiming? There is a much easier way to do this. Aim at a specific point, take your shots, then move the dot to where you were hitting by adjusting the turrets. Why are you zeroing it shooting low?

Height over bore. The red dot sits a couple inches above the barrel. If you put the red dot on any specific point, your barrel will naturally be aimed a couple inches below where you're actually aiming. I hope that helped to clear some things up. Thanks for watching brother.

@RonBlackstock - I understand what you're saying, but still confused. So, if you were to shoot exactly where you have your bulls eye, you're actual point of impact is 3 to 4" lower based on how you're zeroing it. Is that not accurate? So, aren't you always going to be impacting lower than where you are aiming based on how you have it zeroed? Out to distance, you're going to be even lower. Don't you want to be hitting exactly where you are aiming not lower? I've never seen someone purposely site there gun in to shoot low.

I am wondering the same thing. Super confused on why you aren’t zeroing the red dot to the spot you were aiming at.

Explain to me as a new shooter how you would zero a red dot for an ar15 also with a magnifier if you can, I’m new and just got this setup

@@bestinstallerever1043 I’m not an expert but from my understanding you shoot then check the target and make adjustments to the red dot as needed. You can probably find a better explaining video. I’m hoping to hit the range tomorrow and I’ll do the same thing as I said above

Pull the tab out from under the battery, make sure the battery is in the correct way and you won't see the light on NV1 or NV2 and probably 1 through 3 maybe even 4 after that you should see the light. If not buy a new CR163R battery
