Hate to change the topic/album, but I remember when we thought WOLF would never drop. Still my favorite release. Big part of that is nostalgia. It was the perfect climax to those insane few years where the mainstreams attitude towards Tyler and Odd Future was adored by a small few who believed but HATED by everybody else. The personal and musical growth is blatant on that album.

I actually looked this up. Like another person said the coke causes the fish to begin to rapidly evolve into a humanoid form. As it evolves it slowly exits the water until it transforms fully into a humanoid being. The people there aren’t really humans, but rather fellow evolved fishmen. They are there to help their fellow fish exit it’s cacoon( the hole is a cacoon that the fish constructed so that it could wait until fellow fish brethren could come by with coke and help it evolve). This is how vietmanese people are made. This is also why during the Vietnamn war vietmanese people hid in holes because they felt comfortable in their natural cacoon like environment. This also explains why vietmanese people tend to be shorter than the average human, because not enough coke is used in the evolution process( a coke and a half is needed to produce a fishman around 5’8 to 6’4 tall).
