Subbed mate, good points, I just got a kings swag still new in the box, will be seasoning it soon, had a darche air volution swag but that caked it so got a new one instead 😎👍
@@NasTimeAdventures hey mate just an fault that was done by me one of the air poles popped a leak, but other then that went pretty tough and strong I would highly recommend it and yes they aren't cheap so I went with the kings swag 😂😂
I've been sleeping in swags for 60yrs and have never seasoned a swag. All of mine have been seasoned naturally and have never had any trouble with water
I thought there was a canvas waterproofing spray u had to use ?? like a starch or something ?? I did it once years ago I can't remember now .. it survived the rainwater but the zips at the bottom is where the water leaked in after a puddle bit up around the outside of the swag.. soaking the inner matteress
G’day Brett, there are water proofing agents out there but I have never used them so can’t talk from experience. Even with all the years of using camper trailer I have never sprayed anything on to the canvas. . One reason I use a stretcher now is to stop the water coming in from the bottom. Cheers
I would normally do this in the bath to really soak it through but I get your point about setting it up right before seasoning. What are your thoughts on maybe bathing it and then setting it up properly to dry?
I haven't tried that it thinknit could be difficult to set up a soaking swag nice and tight. Tnere really.isnt a right or wrong way this is just how I do mine. 👍🏻
