This is so accurate. I did a 7 month “sponsored” trip, and of the 20 countries we went to, a majority of them we barely skimmed the surface or we would use them as “lockdown” countries and wouldn’t leave our hotel at all because we just had to catch up on content. It came to a point when we were working to put the content together and didn’t have time to go out and GET the content. Props to you girl!

Hi Helen! I'd love to know how you approached these hotels in the beginning. Like you mentioned you emailed all of them, but did you send them handles to your social profiles or did you have a portfolio? How often did you reach out to various hotels and at what point did you really feel confident you could deliver what they were asking? Did you eventually set parameters for what you would provide them with and what you would not? When and why? Please and thank you! Big fan of your content :)

We work so hard to make our content look effortless, that's the irony! It's a dream job for sure, but I don't want to downplay the work involved. It's like running a production agency, haha. I am excited to start my own personal business ventures in the future, as well as find impactful ways to give back. xx

I love Helen, I remember someone commenting saying their group watched her and zack take millions of photos during the sunset in Costa Rica for like an hour and didn't even enjoy the sunset because they were taking so many photos being taken. I think thats why Helen always says her insta is a highlight reel but also, job or not she has to enjoy the perks!
Hi! Yeah, exactly. When we were in Costa Rica we were working on a paid project with The Four Seasons, so we had certain deliverables to hit and we definitely were not there to relax and unwind. So from an outsiders perspective, you 100% see the work and time involved. But from the end result, our images make it look like we were on vacation. So misleading! It's a dream job though and we truly enjoy it, but we set aside specific trips where we are not working, purely enjoying. :) Thanks for watching my video and thanks for the love!
