I was thinking the same thing! He didn't even give it a fighting chance. They were only married a few years I think before he asked for a divorce. Unfortunately I think he's seeing someone else.

Maybe he don't want to be married. He is a runner. He will wake up one morning and realise that life is a fight. You Have To Fight . It's not a walk in the park. What good father walks away from his wife when his baby is at such a tender age?

I could imagine everyone tried to council them before the split. Her dad is a pastor! This man left his wife and child at the prime of his career. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a white woman with his new Doctor title, at this point

Life is just a struggle and we have to fight back. I can understand she is trying to protect the image she portrays of Vals dad in the video informing us of the divorce but I am saying , he is no good father because he walked out on his child, damn it. And this is no overnight decision, he did long ago in his heart.

Watching this vid and wondering why all of a sudden it has popped up.... nonetheless, (Based on the Q&A alone) it seems as though Cortez was more invested and paid more attention to Alisha, he knew majority of the answers to the questions. However, Alisha was totally lost as to his questions. Its makes me wonder how well did they even know each other? I can only hope that they both are on the best paths now to their own happiness .
