We're so sorry that we had to do this, and we tried to avoid it for as long as possible, but due to the continuous rise in the cost of ingredients, freight costs and production, it’s now become impossible to absorb these costs further. To give you guys some context, the cost of both whey concentrate and whey isolate are up over 60% in the past few months alone and have exceeded record highs. We appreciate that we’ve said this to you all before, but maintaining the quality of our products is - and always will be - our highest priority. We’re committed to offering you the best products we possibly can while remaining competitive. Of course, we aren’t the only ones affected by the current market, and you’ll notice other brands within the industry also being forced to take the same action. We’re sorry, but we hope you can understand. As soon as these costs start to come down, we will absolutely be reviewing our pricing structures and adjusting where we can for the better. I used to use them, but they get a lot of their supplies from China. So I focused on my Whole Foods, but with prices as they are I started using supplements again. (Unsurprisingly eating 4 steaks a week and a lot of eggs was much more effective too) Casein is a better protein, but won’t get the fun flavors.

Yes, their prices are outrageous, but so are many others. I just gave up and started eating a lot more Greek yogurt. When the prices come back to normal again I may buy it, but not until then.

@@Joseph1NJ you're right man, for me its: skyr yogurt @ £1 per tub (48g protein) meaning 10g of protein costs about 20.1p non-sale, 5kg of impact whey means 46p per 10 grams... even with a half price AND buying the most bulk bag you're still paying more than store bought foods, i also get 0fat cottage cheese

Your protein is almost 300$ here in Canada for a 11lb bag. Optimum nutrition gold standard is better tasting and is less than 200$ for 10lbs bag which is the biggest size they have. I dont know if inflation is hitting hard or if corporate greed got the better of your company but shit needs to change if im ever gonna buy from myprotein again.

Prices have increased substantially in the last 12 months. Last year I bought a 5KG bag of isolate for £51. As of today a 5KG bag of isolate costs £175 using the so called discount codes.

I am a happy Impact Whey user but I am left very confused after watching your video. Why is there in your facility "Polmlek" 20 kg WPC bags as well "Milk Specialities" bags? As I understand from your statement, you have complete production from a fresh diary, in your facilities? So please can you explain the visible products of mentioned manufacturers in your facility process. Is that some part of production is made in Poland in Polmlek premises? Is it necessary for every single produced bag to have a scoop when you could just as well use your baking measure tools and avoid huge plastic mountain of waste?

1.) Convenient yea 2.) I checked their website just yesterday they do have the weights listed 3.) Probably not but I'd wager not everyone has measuring tools in their cupboard especially in certain countries in the world where they don't give a fuck about accurately measuring ingredients or not have home baking necessities at all. I do fully agree though, it's a shit ton of trash, especially with the plastic tubs all for the sake of looking pretty. I'm also pretty sure no legislation in any country requires protein powders to come with measuring tools, and the only point they could make is the different serving amounts. Personally, I think anything below 10 lbs shouldn't have a scoop, or at least have an option to have the scoop separately.

When I clicked on the video I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but I saw it was 9 minutes so assumed there would be something more. Maybe it's just that protein powder is boring because I watched a peanut butter factory tour which is equally simple ("we cook peanuts and smash them") but it was somehow way more satisfying.

the seal on my MyProtein doesnt work. Worried that I bought a knock-off product. Anyone experienced this as well?

I worked in a fitness warehouse & they've sended Myprotein whey to a client which seal has broken off & even some whey leaked out so be careful. Cans are best...
