They’re screwed without Simmons. If Simmons didn’t get hurt I believe they could have won it all. That’s how important he is, mostly because of the drop off to the back up
Not taking anything away from the opponents, but Ohio State is good at beating themselves, sometimes at the most inopportune times. Reminds me of the 70s and the 90s. I guess history does repeat itself.
The coaches are going to earn their money to get the offensive line up to snuff. I don’t know what the freaking heck is going on with this defense can someone explain it to me?
Who's next man up? Tackles have at least first string, second string, and third string. If they're not ready blame Frye for not getting them ready. If we won a natty with a third string QB, we should be able to with a second or third string tackle. As far as tight ends go I see Thurman pancaking guys out there, we need somebody who we can rely on to convert a third down, all our TEs suck at blocking go with their strengths. You want somebody to block throw a lineman out there, and use a two RB set one to run one to receive. Our coaches don't use our players effectively. Go Bucks !!!
I seem to be in the minority but I feel like that loss is going to pay dividends down the stretch. Oregon needed every single miracle they got in that game & for us to play like crap to win by 1. I still think this team is special enough to win the Natty. I’m not down at all on this team or the loss.
