It's amazing that the best things in life for you are free like yoga. And some people pay a lot of money to ruin their lives like alcohol and drugs. I have been there in both cases. Funnier yet, I quit the recreational drugs, drinking and smoking in a weekend. Couldn't do one without the other so I gave them all up. That was way back in the 80's. I was prescribed painkillers for a herniated disc after being hit by a car while running. Got addicted to them under the care of a doctor and tried to stop but could not. Have been in addiction therapy since 2011 and have not touched an opiate since. Bikram Yoga and running was part of the therapy. Now that I will be sixty in a couple weeks, I mostly weight train and just getting back to running and Bikram Yoga.🙏

The scams began with Yogananda. He was the original schister. Got rich American millionaires to build him an ashram. All he had to do was tell them they were enlightened.....and thus the modern teacher training was born.
