Great advice sir, you would be a wonderful Captain on any ship, many thanks from a fellow Aussie. To the delightful lady with the dark hair, how did the trip across Drakes Passage go then? I'd really love to know.
I use to suffer on ships. What cured it was having food in my stomach. Yep as I began to feel sick, I’d eat. Which is the exact opposite to what you’d normally feel like. But for me Boom good again!!
The tubes he references are the semicircular canals of the inner ear, which serve to sense varying directions of motion, equilibrium, spatial orientation. This vid, while a bit lengthy, should have more views. Great info! IDK if the use of "shock" to describe motion sickness is accurate, although I understand the point he's trying to get across. There's a vestibular/visual disconnect, body doesn't like it, and it feels *AWFUL*! Thanks for the great tips, sir!
everyone is diff. also do other tips collectively: no greasy foods the night before, no coffee or alcohol, try ginger pills or candy, try what this captain is suggesting, pressure wrist bands seem to NOT work.
