I don't understand why they never showed Howard working on anything important and COOL, like a spaceship thruster, design of the Mars Rover, a NASA hypersonic plane engine, shuttle wing design, etc. He worked on a space shelf and a space toilet and flew to space once(and mostly HATED it). What the fuck, writers. Sheldon wouldn't be able to insult Howard so much if Howard was actually doing something really cool at his job. Way cooler than dead-end string theory and a whiteboard.

The accurate answer is that Howard wasn't an employee of NASA or Boeing. He wouldn't have been allowed to work on large projects like that. So being subcontracted to working on small projects is the life of a lab technician/research assistant at a university, which is what Howard was.

Well he did work on that top secret quantum vortex gyroscope guidance system for the military. That was kinda cool. Of course they took it away at the end but still...

Wasn't he supposed to be her caregiver? Some people require 24-hour care, so caregivers have to take shifts. But I guess it'd be different if he was also renting a room in the house. Or using caregiving as a way to barter for a place to live.

They really miss Howard's cousin very fast. Yes. I honestly see Stuart as Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj's cousin no offense. While I did like Stuart's friendship with them, I honestly don't see his friendship with them as strong as the friendship between the 7 main characters
