vinodh kumar Venkatesan As long as you have a wifi laptop, you should be good. I'm yet to use widi, so can't really comment. Try removing the drivers and using reinstalling.

You cannot connect the laptop directly to the printer. You need an access point. Like a wifi router..

seo tips Performance and maintenance should be same on both. You get memory card slot and colour touch screen with 4515, you can see and do basic editing of pictures on the printer itself. If you really need the sd card slot and plan to edit pictures on this tiny screen, go for 4515. I personally do not see myself using memory card or color screen on the printer, so I'll prefer 3545.

A.S.Purna lakshimi This can be done from the print dialog. When you try to print a page, you get a window/dialog where you select the printer/no of copies etc. Somewhere within that you will find preferences(or similar). Click on that(assuming you have already selected/highlighted the 3545 printer) and check different tabs, you should have an option to print in grey scale. Select that, go back and print. The above is just to give a vague idea. The options and how they are displayed may differ from program to program or OS dependent. But the options should be more or less similar and sometimes the grey scale options will be right in front of you and sometimes you may have to look under different tabs. Using above you have to select grey scale each time you want, by default color is the option. If you want to change the default, you should do it from main printer preferences. In windows 7, this can be accessed by going to Start>>devices and printers, right click on 3545 printer and select grey scale. After this the default will be grey scale and you should follow the procedure I said in previous paragraphs to print in color.

Sarah'sDad Sant Seems like a software problem, completely uninstall and reinstall the HP 3540 Series Software/Drivers, that should solve. I had limited functionality on one of my windows 8 laptops and reinstalling solved it.

yaswanth servisetty No idea sir, haven't tried it. I usually scan and store both sides in the same image and print it when required. The other thing is, I select multiple photos from windows explorer and give a print command. In the dialog box that comes up, I select wallet which prints 9 pictures in the A4 page(will print only two if you have only two selected). You can select other options also in this dialog like two pictures, 4 pictures etc. But in any of the above, the size of print out may not be exactly what you want.

amit gupta I think it should be same, i think its a typo on amazon. it is actually "3545 e-all-in-one", e is not part of the model, but part of "all in one" which means it is eprint ready.

Ojash Kumar Jana No, I do not know you are a computer engineer and I do not need your qualification. W.r.to the printer in question, E is not part of the model, it is part of the series. It is not HP 3545e printer, it is HP 3545 e-All-In-One printer which is one of HP ePrint printers. BTW, model numbers have nothing to do with qualification, it is all about the nomenclature the company uses.

VISHKI Can you review the HP Deskjet 4515 e-All-In-One Wireless Printer? If yes kindly do a video on that.

Ojash Kumar Jana No Ojash, I do not have access to that printer. I just review what I buy for my use and I do not have a 4515.

Deepa Srinivasan Seems like the carriage is stuck, are you sure you removed all the packing material? Check for all the blue tape and any paper material. In this video I remember removing all the material in front of the camera, check the video and see if you have missed any stuff. If no material is left, it must be a hardware problem, but check in every possible area. The printers bottom I think has some mechanicals exposed, so it should be kept on hard surface, if you keep the printer on a bed or some similar soft area the mechanicals will not function. Check below the printer, in the paper feed area and in the service area(where we have the cartridges).

Rohan Hiray Yes, I have that sticker too on the bottom which reads 3548 e. The name on the front of the printer reads "3545" right? India specific model code is A9T81B. Lift the maintenance door(where we install the cartridges), the cartridge numbers and model number will be mentioned in bold there. Indian model should read 678 cartridge and A9T81B model. 3548b I think is US model with A9T83 number, don't know why this sticker is used at the bottom.

VISHKI Alright, get it. I was actually considering replacing the device since it's within the replacement time frame. Feel differently now. Also, the other details match the ones you've mentioned..so that's perfectly fine. I even called up the hp guys to discuss my case..and they too didn't have an answer to that..they said it shouldn't be a cause for concern though. I guess I'm going to keep the printer.
