Would you buy this? Keep an eye on Best Buy as they tend to put this laptop on sale quite often. Also, I dropped my review on the iPhone 14 which you can find here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MaB9ADTiv9s.html
I'd love to buy one, but it would better to have one for less than a thousand dollars, what about laptop setups? Are you going to do another one in the next few days?
I barely got this laptop at best buy and not even a week later I was having issues with the screen and had to return it. LUCKILY it was still under warranty and got a new one. So far so good
Wow that screen is bad but kudos to HP for allowing RAM/storage/wifi cards to be swapped out. I've seen a lot of this lately so I'm hoping it's an industry trend (minus Apple of course who is going the opposite direction).
I brought the laptop, from last 12 months the day I brought I didn't activate the Microsoft student 2021. I contacted many technical agents but no use. Can anyone help me out this.
How is cooling and benchmarks? I need a highly portable dev laptop that also makes a great long lasting binge and discord machine. However, I need lots of RAM and storage for chrome and IDE's. No games with intensive graphical requirements but I still want it to look good. No sistine chapel ceiling level looks but still something that looks good at 1080p.

Matthew, the hinge is not very reliable on this particular model it seems...
Owning the 2022 hp envy x360 13.3 inch laptop with ryzen 5 5600u , my experience has been sorta fine. It's not perfect...but.... definitely a better screen than this one... although I am still worried about the hinges..
My 2020 13 inch envy x360's hinges broke after 1.5 years.... In hindsight I should've known about it since it's a common issue with this class of laptops. The hinge is attached to the frame using plastic brackets secured with metal screws, which is a major design flaw. I wonder if it was intentional because they've been doing it for a few years on the Envy now.
i noticed on all your envy videos you think the grills on side of keyboard are speaker grills but they are not. they are just for looks. not for speakers or cooling. all envys have bottom firing speakers
@@cameronbosch1213 it's really not that bad , unless if you're into creative work💀 but for viewing an IDE and a couple youtube videos it gets the job done
I just purchased from amazon a week ago, I feel like the battery life is NOT good at all - I haven't measured but its def not 12 hours... Also I don't think the camera is good at all, I record on zoom a lot - I wasn't expecting HD but this is not as sharp as my old laptop this was supposed to replace, battery and video not as good as my Windows Surface Pro 4 and Im not happy, considering returning, but otherwise I love the look and everything else. This is the one I purchased 'HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop, 15.6" FHD Touchscreen, AMD Ryzen 5 5625U Processor, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Webcam, Backlit Keyboard, HDMI, Wi-Fi 6, Windows 11 Home, Stylus Pen Included'
Half the reason I finally got a MacBook when my Dell died in 2021 was build quality. I was tired of clunky cheap feeling laptops with terrible hinges after a year or two. For what it’s worth, I love the MacBook Air m1 I got. Thing is a tank and fast and efficient and just so much nicer than I’m used to.
Hello. I just bought this laptop today and to my surprise the box is a normal brown HP box and not the black one they normally come with. Do you think mine is refurbished? I have contacted the seller and he told me that they don't sell refurbished and that the unit came from Walmart and that those brown boxes are export/commercial boxes. 🤔.
You really believe that the gap is the reason why the lid is so squishy? Better consult an engineer before making such claims. Also, no mention of the poor hinge design HP has been using for years that will eventually puncture the display? Guess people won't be clicking on that affiliate link if they know about the class action suit against HP regarding the hinge design flaw they keep on ignoring.
Hi dear, i have same laptop with 16Gb ram/1TBSSD. I also did not like its display.Could you help me with any other comparison Dell laptop to replace this.
What about the hinge??? A lot of people complained about last year hp envy models there hinges were broken ?? What about 2022 model ?? Can you test the hinge quality?
Yeah... I heard a lot of complains about the hinge breakage on 2020 model... But as far as I saw 2021 model did quite Good didn't find any complain yet ... Looks like they improved it ... And 2022 model looks very much reliable in terms of longevity
AMAZING VIDEO! I current have an Envy 15 and I love it! But I still have some complaints about it. The battery sucks and display is disappointing. But seeing this video, how nice the specs are, upgrade options and the godly price range makes me wanna scream. Can you plz send me a link to the model with the OLED or 2050? Thx!
hi did you buy the intel version or amd version , cuz i bought the intel version and the battery is awful and returned it and hoping to buy the amd version with oled display
Great review! I recently bought this but the Intel i7 16gb ram version (silver)does this have 400 nits brightness? Hp say 250 but the shop i bought it from say 400. Thanks
Looks nice, but the lower-end screen, oh gawdm, it's awfully bad. Considering, this is a thin&light laptop, and the screen is the thing we will use mostly (you basically look at it all the time), it's a big no (for this screen option).
This isn’t a 1000 dollar laptop there’s two versions 499 and 599. Comparing it to a Mac book pro just makes it seem like a craptop. It’s not. The gaming runs fine….and the screen is nice….crap review
Hey there, great video! Just a quick question . I’ve recently bought HP Envy x360 15-fe0514sa 15.6”, processor Intel i5 with 8 gb RAM. My question is does this particular model allow me to change the RAM to 16 GB? Cheers
quick question, what's the difference between the Hp Envy x360 with only the fingerprint scanner and the one with only the face id (one shown in this review).
do not buy hp ...people from all over the world inckuding me are facing hinge problem with this laptop .. i bought this laptop 2 years ago and in those 2 yrs the hinges of this laptop broke 2 time one time just within 7 months of buying it and once now recently both the time the hinges broke which led to the screen coming out as the fist time laptop was in warranty hp fixed it only after i fought with them cuz otherwise they were putting the blame on me saying that i must have droped the laptop. this time as the issue is not unknown now hp has issued advisory for the issue so my laptop was fixed without a hasel but i was also told that even though the advisory is issued i only got it fixed for free is cuz i have bought extended warranty, so basically if u dont have extended warranty are screwed hp wont fix the issue for free once your warranty has expired. so dont buy HPX360
If you’re just talking about battery life, efficiency and superior speaker systems then you do have a point. But still many Windows laptops have much better value than MacBooks in specs and offer a lot of choice and flexibility for users.
@@harishprabhu02 Almost all Windows laptops have better pricing for specs. the M2 is nice sure, but if you don't dish out that outrageous price point, you have to settle for one that throttles after 30 seconds of load, that's unacceptable for the pricetag.
No this is trash, terrible display for what you are paying. You are basically getting a processor from 2 years ago 4800u was rebranded as 5800u which is now rebranded as 5825U . RU-vidrs need to hold companies responsible instead of recommending garbage recycled products. where are the 6000u cpu's ?
Tx. Buddy, to kill the business for sticker guys I suggest for AMD to put their logo on the laptop wherever instead of a sticker. Let's all create ideas to get sticker guys out of business 🤣
