Monday, April 17, 2023 My notebook is a Pavilion X360 BR-095ms. The screen is cracked in 2 places. Does a replacement screen have to be from a Pavilion with a model that begins with BR? Thank you much. 😀

I have this exact laptop. I had to replace both the screen and the top cover. The screen had cracked a long time ago, and so I disabled the touch screen because it was all wonky. Recently, the hinge on the top cover broke, so I took the opportunity to replace both. Everything went really well, but I can't get the touch screen to work. I went to the HID-Enabled Touch Screen device in Devices, and it says it's enabled. Is there something else I have to do?

This machine has an SSD as its C: drive. If you have a hard drive, it would be D:. I was freaked out by that myself because my machine (same model) does have a hard drive.
