What's the max average fpe you get when you want a full magazine on a 350 bar fill for the .25 version of the GK1? So what can you expect when you tune it so you get all 17 shots? Somewhere around 50fpe?
Thanks Albert for the tip on the bed liner paint for the pistol grip in my opinion i think the walnut finish is ugly and also you and others mentioned the grip being slippery thanks again 😃👍
I have the same chronograph it had bad reviews, but it works good as long as you have it level… HUBEN 💪 watching vids cuz mine got 4/5k shots and I don’t wanna wear it out
Albert just to clarify, you said silicone grease which is the same as you would use on your seals? Do you get any type of dieseling? Great video definitely the highest energy I've seen on any video so far. I like using the Zan 34 grain .253 they fit nice and snug and help prevent jamming. I've tuned mine down to where I'm getting a pretty consistent 60 fpe and a full mag. Great video!!!
I ordered my Huben.25 cal GK-1 about 2 weeks ago, and it won't be shipped for another 6 weeks! These pellets look top notch, but even ordering 3 cans at once from the Czeck Rep. they are about $25 a tin. I'm hoping at some point they will be sold here in the Us.
I had to get it when I saw them getting ready to be available. Good thing I knew Zach at Ares tactical and was able to get the first batch. Best buy I've made in an air gun.
Have my 25 set to 32 FPE (first shot) with 26 grain pellets. Through 2 mags it dips to 30 fpe and back up to 32 by shot 34. Then shot 6 more until the tank was at 150 bar. So 40 shots average 30 fpe. Maxed 44 grain slugs. First shot 80 ft lbs. believe i got like 9 shots with each shot dropping about 5-6 bar. So 4 shots within the 70-80 ft lbs range. Which is more than enough for a emergency situation if needed
Nice. Yes I took mine out yesterday with my wife and she loves it. I had it at max to show the stopping power. It was about 8 shots from 91 to 65 fpe. Then dialed it to about 45 fpe for a full magazine.
@@albertgonzales5244 that's the answer I was looking for, so you can get about 45fpe if you want the full magazine. Thanks! Was that on a 300 or 350 bar fill?
As someone that has forearms as a hobby, i still dont think im sold on this with its current price point. I understand asking it to be at $600 is a lot, but i just cant justify spending over $1000 for an airpistol that isnt as useful as a normal handgun besides it being a display piece.
Your forearms are just for a hobby? Well damn. I should try biceps... Or fingers. Or elbows. Those sound nice too. This .25 cal air gun is more powerful than a .25 ACP.
Think about the fact that ammo is about $25 per 500rounds ever less the more bulk you buy if you shoot alot it pays for itself. YoU also dont need to invest in a external tank to fill it since handpumping is extremely viable due to the small volume of the tank. Consider 22lr pistols are 70fpe this things almost as powerful as 22lr out of a rifle in a much smaller package. Sure only gets you 15round one mag on a fill but you could buy a small tank the size of the gun itself and put it in your pocket a chest rig or phanny pack run a wip to the gun and then get 4-6mags before its capacity is deleted.
Cheap ammo no waiting list and 19 shots … not to mention super quiet.. your neighbors won’t hear a thing and neither will the pigs 🐷 😂. I just moved from the motherland of firearms Miami Fl to Communist California… this gun for my car is perfect. I still have guns at home for defense but the car is off limits here till this came out!❤
900 fps is nice but with 34-40grain range you get around 1100fps. I mean no one is going to be able to dodge 900fps around 25yards. , but for 100 yards definitely use 34grains.
If you purchase any other slugs avs makes about any size you want just make sure there in .254 . 974 with 42 grn. I’ve backed down to the 36 to conserve air with plenty of power still
Can you tell me how long these slugs are exactly? I was looking to order some but I saw that the 49.5 gr slugs are 10.7 mm and I thought the magazine is 10 mm.
I will concede that the pistol numbers are lower but I own a Huben GK1 that I use all the time and it is NOT more powerful than a regular .22, it just isn't. You can get 1 or 2 shots that are close but the FPE drops soo fast. In order to get power comparable to a .22" you have to crank it up to max and you get maybe 3 shots? It's max power to me is what it can shoot a full magazine of and that is closer to 50 fpe. It is still impressive for an airgun but I think you are kinda kidding yourself calling it more powerful.
@albertgonzales5244 Generally the manufacturer max is going to be ideal conditions and the number you get will be slightly lower but iv never seen a manufacturer make a mistake that drastic.... or fail to fix it after customers clearly demonstrate it to be inaccurate. I mean sht they would have a much easier time justifying that price if they said it can put out energy comparable to a .22 lr handgun but instead they list max energy as 44 fpe. Seriously thought these people were using the .22 but claiming it was the .25 because the numbers would make alot more sense that way.
@@whatsmolly5741 I know I was gonna be good with 45fpe but I kept turning it up to see what it could and I was shocked. There are other guys on RU-vid getting close or as much with theirs as well.
@@whatsmolly5741 Lol..it's all good. Check out other videos out there, you will see what I'm talking about. I love this gun and I'm glad it over achieved my expectations.
@@keesbey9555 Ive had this for over 2 years and never had any issues or leaks from seals. If yours is malfunctioning then you're doing something wrong.
Those buckrail moderators suck, i had that one for my Gauntlet, get yourself and Impulse air or DonnyFL RYU, not a fan of donnyfl but , the RYU and Yokozuna are the only ones out of Donnys lineup that really work.
@@bigtwon8590 Open the container and give it a good spray. Then shake them around to get them all covered. Don't over soak just spray and shake should be enough.
HELLO ALBERT USED .254 SLUGS THAT YOU RECOMMENDED AND THE PISTOL JAM SO I TOOK PISTOL TO GUN SMITH TO HAVE IT LOOK AT HE AND HE ADVISE THAT I AM AM USE THE WRONG AMMO FOR THIS HUBEN GK1
Meh, cool, but $1250 + whatever you paid for the moderator still is stupid imo. Better off paying $350 for a Ruger Charger $79 for a box 1000ct .22cal rds and extra $30 for a ruger bx-33rd magazine. And if you have patience, pay another $400 and wait the 8 months for a tax stamp and get a decent suppressor. And you can still backyard shoot. This Huben pistol is for the airgun collector. Or the felon who got his life together makes good money and can afford premium gear but may be barred from owning firearms because of his past. Other than that, you'd be better off buying the rifle version to get the most outta the platform. Keltec PMR30 .22wmr or even the CP33 .22lr are even better choices. The new S&W 5.7x28mm pistol also. Basically, $1250 for an airpistol is not smart. Especially an air pistol that doesn't have a large enough support system to justify the price. Oh, lastly, that same slug can be bought from Varmint Knocker Slugs call D-Rig and ask him for his Huben slugs. Also, MP Moulds sells the mould to cast those slugs.
Thank you for the info. I have plenty of firearms and got into PCP guns a few years back. Overall it is way cheaper to shoot to have fun, and super quiet. I am a collector of both and believe me every gun has its purpose. I agree with you on the price but what can I say I've already got pretty much all the firearms I need. I will look up those slugs for sure.
@@albertgonzales5244 Nothing against you sir😂🙏 I just hate it when our people adopt that silly fpe crapp that the Europeans are stuck on because they're limited to bird shooting 12 fpe😵
@@albertgonzales5244 - well if you put it on the Internet it's not just your business anymore. Are you really this much of an idiot? Firearms near windows while traumatizing your dogs is just a jackass move. Try to think.
