I love that there is readers for bible story’s. I bought a toddler bible as a reader a few yrs ago. I buy stationary often not just at the beginning of the yr.

Love your container from Walmart. I’ve never seen that. I used to do morning buckets with my kindergarten students. I would rotate their buckets every week, could be what you could do (or everyday) so the kiddos don’t fight over them.

Wow Mama, this haul was so fun to watch. The tie dye T-shirts is a great idea! I’m trying to think of some fun first day of school activities too. I love suggestion of using the mini craft stocks for tally marks, that is soo smart. I’ve had my eye on “The Ology” book too, would be interested to see how you like it. That macrame wall hanging is adorable.

Pursuing Peace Well there’s no “secret sauce” to putting a morning basket together. 😉 It’s whatever you want it to be. Ours is pretty basic. Bible/devotional, history/science, read aloud book, and some poetry. 💁🏼‍♀️

We do theme weeks, farm, zoo, apples ect they love it . Their under 6 to . Makes learning fun and easier. You set up didn't stations with the theme then a field trip about the subject

Felt is also good at cleaning a wipe off board. All you would have to do is buy a felt sheet from Michael’s or Joanns and then cut is up to the size you want.

With the Ikea water colored pencils you can also dip them in water and draw on your skin. It wipes right off with water. We LOVE doing this for an activity, becoming animals, or becoming anything we are learning about.

The reusable sticker pad we loove and use them for roadtrips .when we have long stops i take them out and they stay busy and its less waste as regular stickers

Hey friend, I clicked on this as soon as I saw it. New school supplies are so fun. I like the idea of using the mini craft sticks in place of the toothpicks. And I like the idea of each kid having their set of crayons for the school year. That box from Walmart for your kids to pick and activity from for morning time sounds like a really great idea. And love the macrame hanger!!

I have always wanted to try homeschooling but was afraid I wouldn’t be doing things right. But the last few months that we had to do it ourself... I am less afraid. So I started enrolling my kids to K12 program this year I’m thinking of doing videos or my experience. Cause I know I’m not the only one struggling to do it myself .

The orange history book they have the whole set on Amazon math, science, etc....i got them for my 3 grandkids grades 3-6-9 last year so they can have help at home to reference things while doing homework they are great the kids love them especially the math book**🤗🤗

@@PursuingPeace yes we have but it includes stuff like uniforms and textbooks since she does go to a public school ... Then whatever supplies I get for her I use as needed to home/afterschool. School reopens in September, praying that COVID-19 doesn't mess that up.

What a great idea to do a homeschool trunk or treat. I would love to do that in my neighborhood. Also, I noticed Christopher Columbus was on the top of that stack. Kinda disappointing that people are still painting him as the discoverer of America when he so clearly wasn’t. Can you tell us how you plan to explain that in your American history lessons?

Can we have an idea of what you spend on each item? Maybe attach a list or your receipts? And I agree with you in the twistable crayons, they are a must for little kids. They are a little more expensive at 1st, but they pay for themselves overtime 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿

Do you have a video on how you set up your planner? And I have kids a year apart that are in two different grade levels how do you set up your planning schedule for them like do you have your own book for each one that they can see their schedule or do you just put it in one whole book?

We are doing homeschool too and with me becoming homeschool mom i get to buy me a laptop😊 lol my first spot to buy homeschool items was dollarstore BUT love walmart&target .. i started an insta for my daughter showing crafts ( @craftbratz ) soo ive been crazy shopping lol

I keep some things throughout the year and then put them in a binder for them to look through at the end of the school year. 😊

Hi Dina... you mention, morning time/circle time.. whats the difference? How do you incorporate the 2?...

Hi Reba! I don't think there's a real difference except I'm using "circle time" as a time for preschoolers where as "morning basket time" is for all the kids. But I think people use it interchangeably. 😊

Oh not at all! I said unfortunately slavery is part of our history. It's too bad it's something we have to teach our children, but people like Harriet Tubman bring light to a dark time in our country. ❤ So I'm looking forward to sharing her story with my kids.
