It's crazy that everyone still managed to both make fun of Twitter but also gather together to listen to a glorified amber alert and make a spectacle out of it
Should revolt no doubt! 5g is the least of your worries, everything you've ever been told is a lie! You're a slave! Please tell me what's free? Where is it you are free to go? Sad how much TV PROGRAMMING has brainwashed you, lulled you into excepting your own slavery, dumbed you down so much you can't see what is right in front of you anymore... The government isn't your friend, they don't even like you. Invisible lines drawn on a map control everything about you. You'll waste your entire life working for fake money, while your friendly government takes 40% of it, lie to your face everyday, poison you, and you'll still beg them to make more laws, regulate you more, tax you more, the whole time your life and society gets worse, but your brain is to fried from flouride to see that laws arent made to protect you they're made to keep you an ignorant slave. Do criminals follow laws? Do they? NO only TV PROGRAMMED FOOLS who think they live in a Democracy..
Words cannot describe how uncomfortable and taken off guard I was when I saw Charlie with grey hair. I thought I was just fucking crazy and either phased out his aging process and suddenly became aware of the years gone by or he had rapidly aged years.
As someone who typically avoids pits of the internet like Twitter, I had no idea there was this big conspiracy. I saw the emergency alert test and just thought to myself "huh, been a while since I've had one of these that was just for testing," and promptly moved on with my day.
I work at a phone repair warehouse, and when the alert went out we had no joke 100's of phones going off at the same time. For a moment, it felt as if Armageddon wasn't just a concept. As each device signaled the alert, we were trapped in a deafening techno symphony that felt straight out of a dystopian film.
This same thing happened in the UK and no one here was being this much of a pussy about it. It's just a alert TEST it ain't real. You are insanely over exagerating "it felt like armageddon wasnt a concept" like what the fuck are you talking about go wright a book.
I have a friend who is like pretty autistic nothing major she’s just very quick and knows like every transformer, but one thing she doesn’t handle well AT ALL is change, especially when it’s sudden immediate and has like no warning. But we both like Charlie’s video so lot, I like em for the content she likes em for the monotone usually informative content. We also live in the same accommodation flat, so when she got the notification there was an upload she like immediately knocked on my door and just fuckin walked in, and I sat down to start watching. She usually prepares herself for a possible black shirt episode. Seeing Charlie old with grey hairs looking much older then he is made her not even make a loud noise she just squeaked and folded inwards and gave a soft “no.”
I don't understand how so many older people seem to have forgotten that the emergency alert system has done a monthly test through the TV broadcast for as long as I can remember.
because it wasnt our government who sent the alert dumbass it was FEMA, the same people found making camps in texas, hawaii, etc. 250 dead bodies and more found in hawaii with bullet holes and FEMA leader was arrested for it by EX Millitary leaders. Let that sink in.
The emergency alert happened while I was eating lunch at school, and when everyone's phone started freaking out everyone in the room started cheering and clapping. Truly one of the moments of my life, lol.
I appreciate you charlie for the 48 years of content you gave me and others, it was a good run fella. My grandkids love your videos and they arent the slime video folk who watch 4 videos at the same time.
Bro, it's okay. There's actually deaged him back to 29, but now he's missing half of his left testicle and has an extra toe growing on the back of his right foot.
literally it scared my toddler and i went “the government tells our phones to tell us when something unsafe is happening, they sent a test to make sure the thing still works! Nothing bad is happening! Wanna watch barbie?” and we moved on
I think it was a location check. Just to see where they could drop a bomb to wipe out the most people. Never trust the government all they do is lie. Plus the whole 2030 agenda.
@@quaza2001 nah its valid to be concerned with it but only for people that need a phone others dont know they have like abusive partners and parents, id bet tens of thousands of people got beat yesterday
I was chilling in History class, it was 2:39, then, all of our phones started going off, everyone thought it was one student, but it was EVERYONES PHONE. Every phone in a locker was going of and echoing AND THE WHOLE HALLWAY WAS LOUD AS SHIT.
I've been a subscriber since early May, 1975, its been a real wild few decades watching your content, thank you for the content, my grandchildren love watching your streams too!
My step dad is unfortunately a big conspiracy theorist and warned me about the alert a few days ago. He called me a few hours after the alert, saying he was wrong about the virus activation, but then proceeded to educate me on the white spider web things falling out of the sky as a result of the alert. They really have an explanation for everything...
We had this happen in the UK a few months ago, had the exact same drama and conspiracies. Honestly sad how many people have this main character syndrome where they think theyre the only one that knows the truth.
Yeah, normal people just went into their settings and turned the emergency alerts off. Crazy how the conspiracy crackheads can turn anything into the apocalypse/zombies/let’s go Brandon
All I know was that the analogue horror noise woke me up, I rolled over excited thinking something interesting had happened and checked my phone. But no. No nuclear war, no chemical spill, no tornados in my area. Went back to sleep annoyed.
There was a dude who said the alert was an invasion of his privacy and an inconvenience. He took apart his phone and unplugged every electronic in the house so he wouldn’t hear the alert, which is a bigger inconvenience than a 2 second alert sound. He claimed that he “won”.
So I’m very convinced that people like this have some type of trauma or something. People freaked out the same way during COVID when we had to follow safety guidelines
@@CrystalRose1111like yea we get it, you think it's a hoax. But could we just follow it just to deal with it? I'm not a sheep for just dealing with the things, and wanting it to be done
@@kylefinn5301bro won’t be laughing when the lasers are blaring down on his town. he’ll be taking cover behind his ignorance, receiving no prior warning of the government running a test with their new advanced weaponry
to get into character he had his friends hire hitmen to wear ghillie suits and hunt him in the woods for months so he knows what its like to serve in vietnam
I was taking a test when it happened, and my phone was in my backpack at the front of the room when it happened. Our class just stood there in silence for a few seconds while our devices went off before resuming. It was raining pretty strongly outside, so most of us (I know I did) probably thought it was a flash flood warning or something.
I can’t believe people really got so scared of an alert test. Common sense really isn’t that common anymore Just to clarify, I mean the people coming up with conspiracy theories and freaking out based on those theories are ridiculous. In all fairness, the actual alert sound scared the heck out of me too
havent we had tests before? ....with as long as phones have been around now, youd think people would be smarter ( computer in their hands and all the information with it ) but no, just dumber
My dad is into the weird conspiracy stuff like this and was freaking out about this. I then decided to, after the alert went off, crawl into his room making groaning noises. 👍
I was on vacation in munich when Germany tested theirs. The weird part was i was outside and they started setting off air raid sirens, like the properly eerie sounding WW2 sirens. That spooked me I can't lie.
Everyone in my school was hyping it so much, me and my friends were waiting for the countdown to go off. Kids from other classes came to our classroom to witness this event live. Truly an emergency alert system moment of all time.
lol yea not everyone at my school knew so i just bluntly told some people that the purge was today i heard some screams coming from the other classrooms but no one died
It scared me because I had no prior knowledge of it and it triggered as I exited a door. I thought I accidentally tripped some alarm and was scared I would be punished before I realized the sound was in my bag.
Well its kind of like randomly receiving an amber alert, those scare the ever loving crap out of me because it comes when you least expect it and tbf, some people didn't know about this
Probably one of the only times i have regretted being disconnected from social medias and the news. Was sitting on my floor in silence before the virtual hydrogen bomb was transmitted to the phone planted directly in my hands. My skeleton nearly jumped out of my skin like a cartoon character
bro same, except i am connected to the networks of socialism. i had no warning of the apocalypse as im canadian. i was smoking a joint on the bank of the st. lawrence river waiting for hockey season to return, so i can scurry off into my igloo for hibernation. suddenly the bomb exploded in my pocket, and i saw my phone was roaming.
I was unaware of any of the drama surrounding the alert so when I got it, the most it impacted me was with a slight jumpscare as I noticed immediately that it was a test, thought to myself that I'm glad they're keeping those wheels greased, and moved on
The only valid panic I saw over this was warning people who had secret phones for their own safety, to turn them off and keep them hidden until they could turn them back on in a safe place. Mine went off at work, it was a miniscule annoyance for all of a second.
@@Rob-hu9fp He means phones that people keep in secret while in abusive or controlling relationships. If they didn't turn them off the test would alert the abuser to the phones existence.
Mine gave me a pop up, then the actual alert, then another one It was annoying but holy shit are people stupid, when has an emergency alert ever been an issue, besides maybe Hawaii and the accidental missile alert
Don’t forget back in June when a Solar flare was happening, everyone was losing it and saying the whole internet was gonna go and I saw so many tiktoks telling me “how to prepare for the loss of all electricity”😭💀
I mean have you been paying attention to anything for the last 3 years? Sure some people take it way to far, but to act like everything is what it seems is also delusional
@@babobenson5203"to act like everything is what it seems is also delusional"? So seeing things for what they are is delusional? That makes no sense man. You're not as deep or as profound as you'd like to think. That's just plain stupid thinking.
@BunchaNothin to see things as they are presented to you. Most people have absolutely no clue they are in the middle of Aktivnye Meropriyatiya. Propaganda is one hell of a thing.
I’m a preschool teacher working with 2 year olds and I did not appreciate the test going off right in the middle of nap. Luckily only one of the kids woke up from it and went back to bed but it still made my heart race, not because of any potential danger, but because I did not want the kids to wake up early lmao
A bunch of irritated and grumpy kids woken up from nap time before they should've been? This is why I can't be a teacher... Well besides the whole, I don't like kids or today's teens thing of course lol
I was totally unaware of these conspiracies, the only thing I saw was a warning that if someone has a hidden phone in a domestic abuse situation, they have to turn it off in case it gets exposed.
Same, i mean we had something similar in Germany last month and there are I'd be half surprised if there are people who got 5g panic attacks. But I totally see this being realistic over yonder. Ya'll got phones but don't know how to google stuff, so it's to be expected
But to make you feel better, our tech niveau over here is so low. Half a year ago they wanted to test sirens or something, you know in case Russia pops by again (which honestly wouldn't happen if Germany weren't supplying Ukraine with tanks and what not but anyhow), the sirens just didn't go off. Everyone made fun of this whole story. Like I live not to far away from one of the biggest European Server Cities, and I don't even have 4 bars network coverage let alone the "promised" 5g mobile data connection.
I was made aware by a vendor I work with. Dude straight up said it was some op to control the American people. He didn't go so far as to say it was going to be "mind control virus" or whatever, but more what Charlie was saying about how it's just government overreach and how they "now have access to us and are preparing for something big later". I was honestly blown away that someone I work with regularly just spouted that shit as fact..
It's funny that anyone thought this was so unusual. If anything, it's unusual it doesn't happen more often. Before smartphones, we used to get these alerts on our TVs and they performed tests all the time.
it's unusual because you still got it even if you had all government notifications turned off. its intrusive as fuck. They also have never been used for an actual emergency, even when warranted so what does that tell you
@@jtjoemammaThe fact that it goes off even if you have somehow turned government notifications off is the point. When has it been warranted? What is that supposed to tell me? A situation in which a nation-wide alert is actually needed would be some really heavy shit, like a large-scale attack on the country or some sort of unprecedented natural disaster sweeping the nation.
@@jtjoemamma Probably cause there hasn't been a national emergency? What the fuck do you want them to do? Also, that's literally the point of an alert, to alert you, if people could disable it then it would be useless
i actually work in a phone store and I can confirm my store instantly transformed into a deadly robot and started rampaging through the city with the power of national alert
I find it strange when I found out that people actually freaked out over this alert. Today was a normal day for me and everyone around me and I didn't find out until this video lmao
I've been busy this week, so I also had no idea. I was trying to make a call when my phone started screeching at me. Now I'm finding out an apocalypse almost happened.
It was a mild annoyance for me cause I was in walmart and my phone went of twice. I can't imagine people actually saw this as more than just a mild annoyance. I also had no clue it was gonna happen either lmao
I saw notices of this pop up almost a dozen times -- the only people who honestly really needed to worry about it were the people who have secret phones they keep on them because they're victims of domestic abuse and don't want their abuser to know they have a secret phone.
Im so glad that someone was covering this- I was worried it would slip away into obscurity like so many other conspiracy theories these people have. My parents have been infected with The Brain Worms and at the time of the alarm turned off all of the phones in the house, wrapped them in tinfoil (i wish i wqs joking) and left them outside. Words cannot describe how sad it is to see these people in real life- especially when they’re your own goddamn parents.
What the actual fuck even 2nd graders are smart enough to understand what a test alarm is. Im so sorry ur parents were infected by brain worms, I hope everything gets better.
It’s very weird to see crap like this spread so fast and widely accepted, being completely devoid of common sense or realism. I had to tell my 14 year old friend, who said it was a “virus”, that it’s just an emergency test.. multiple times.
It was hilarious. I was on a flight home and when we landed everyone turned on their phones, received the alert and the whole cabin sounded like the end of the world.
My mom’s one of the people who thought the emergency alert would kill us all… she literally said in the car today that we’ll go to my appointment tomorrow “if we survived this emergency alert”. Like girl, what does that mean 💀💀
I think Covid set alot of people on edge and has justifiably pushed people's distrust for the government, but that sometimes leads to crazy beliefs. I believe 100% that the U.S. would indeed murder it's own citizens, it's only been a few decades since the U.S. performed genocide in puertorricans with sterilization by testing birth control on us. I lost 10 family members(and counting) and close people within a single month of them taking the pfizer vaccine due to heart conditions, none of them having had heart conditions before hand nor having had covid before except maybe one of them, as if the vaccines where a big game of Russian roulette and some got to live or die. I have no idea how an alert would kill people other than via mass hysteria though. lol
The panic over the alert (in the conspiracy sense) was so funny. My phone vibrated as the pop-up came, and I just closed it. So scary. So frightening. They're trying to control us all. Edit: yes I know about the concern over the alert going off for people in situations of domestic violence/abuse. That's why I said "in the conspiracy sense" Idk why my phone only vibrated. I have it on vibrate by default, and I had my earphones plugged in, so that may be why.
@@mnnkhuthat is a good point and a valid one but most of the outcry seems to be conspiracy like theories about the radiation being too dangerous or something. At least from what I have seen
@@mnnkhuif you're at the point where you _need_ a hidden phone, just fucking leave bro. Go to the cops or other family or straight up just with as much distance as you can. Abusive relationships aren't final and, in most cases, nothing actually holds you there.
I was honestly dumbfounded by how much my peers overhyped it as if we have NEVER done this before EVER like my classmates were all saying like “turn your phone off because it’s going to be loud and it’s gonna go off for thirty minutes” when literally if you just clear the notification it goes away 💀 It was so concerning how everyone just straight up forgot everything abt how the alarm works when they literally do it on tv and car radios as well
@@ChaoticKris964 it’s so stupid because why the fuck would they do that?? Especially just for a TEST 💀 that’s extremely inconvenient to literally everyone in America
Tbf though some news sources were saying it would be particularly loud compared to other EAS tests (wrongly but still) so I could see where the confusion would come from about the volume level
I remember when they did these tests on tv. Prefaced by something like “this is a test of the emergency broadcast system. This is only a test.” And we never freaked out. We just got pissed because it usually happened in the middle of a favorite show or movie.
We live in a world where trust between fellow men is at an all time low. Between the era of computer viruses and phishing to Indian scam calls it isnt suprising people dont trust alerts anymore. Considering how much the government lies to people its not a suprise people dont trust them. Tv alerts were simpler days.
@@iiCounted-op5jxwell people who are very fragile and paranoid who are constantly on their phones aren’t that strong minded, their pretty weak to the point that they will freak out on the smallest thing Normal people are used to this already which it should be normalized since it’s just a test, like when I was in elementary I always got an alert on my tv that they were testing the systems when I was watching qubo and did I freak out, no because it was just a mere test. I was more so mad that they interrupted a show I was watching So normal people have no problems with these test since their used to it, but their always those weirdos
The test happened while I was in my highschool band class, the funny part about it is that whenever the band director tried remotely speaking, another phone would go off until everybody's was done with the test alert system.
I have all government alerts turned off yet it still came through. forget the conspiracies for a second. ive been in legitimate disaster zones and no alerts have ever been sent out. idk about you but i dont think giving government access to a mass forced notification is a good thing. especially when the last time they sent out an alert it was literally trump just wanting to control what everyone saw, even it was just for a second
No. Wanna know the worst one? Try living in Hawaii and you get a ballistic missile alert that says "This is not a test." TWICE! Only to learn 30 minutes later that it was a massive mistake from those who do the alert broadcasts.
You know what’s crazy? This test was US only. But the whole thing got blown so out of proportion that my friend’s mom in Poland (Europe) told him to tin foil his phone “just in case”
Gotta love how one of the new theories is "they are preparing us for (insert conspiracy, disaster, or alien related thing here)". Yes, actually in your deranged manic episode you managed to figure out that the national emergency alert system is in fact preparing you for a national emergency. Amazing discovery by the conspiracy community on that one.
Thats why I keep saying "Yeah..thats the point.. They are testing if something horrible happens.." Thats what a emergence test is in school, a fire drill, literally think of it like a fire drill: they're preparing you for an fire or event.
@@literallylondonn Yeah but a quick search about the alert system will show that the test is a federal requirement every 2 years and guess when the last one was? 2011. So this is pretty much just standard operating procedure. Also, if the government wanted to do something on purpose there really isn't a need to test the alert system beforehand. It was already scheduled to occur two years after the last one. Nothing happened either. It's just silly to assume there's some secret master plan when the Govt is just following SOP as usual. You might as well assume they're going to do whatever people are worried about every single day they have a normally scheduled calendar event.
Some people I'm very close to were genuinely very concerned that it was a big government conspiracy and that anyone with a phone was in danger. It was really sad to see them fall for such ideas... It hurt
What a roller coaster of a video. We went from 49 year old Charlie, to 79 year old Charlie, and back to 29 year old Charlie all in the span of 9 minutes.
As someone who had no idea there was any sort of panic surrounding this “event” I really do feel like a major badass with how fearlessly I received and dismissed that message yesterday
I didn't know it was happening at all, so when i got the alert i had a moment of wtf then dismissed the notification and forgot all about it until i saw this video just now.
Some of us have panic because the messages either make us paranoid, trigger us in some way or are overwhelming (i’m autistic). So for us turning it off makes sense
As a nerd when it comes to the EAS, it’s hilarious to see how just two simple tones played at the same time cause people to have a heart attack. I guess the dual tone signal really does a number on idiots.
I didn’t even register that this would evoke panic in some people. When the alert popped up on my phone, I just glanced at it for 2 seconds, saw that it was an emergency test, and just turned my phone off and went about my business
We were actually worried about the national alert test at my work and even had to prepare ourselves for when it was going to go off... I work at daycare and it was scheduled to go off during the middle of naptime. We didn't want the toddlers to wake up scared and cry.
I had my Bose noise-cancelling headphones on at full volume when the alert came on; While absolutely devastating, the only harm I can confirm from the sonic emanations of the broadcast is a massive contribution to my rapidly progressing hearing loss and tinnitus.
