After seeing what Ram has done to screw up with the 5th gen, I am keeping my 4th Gen as long as I can. Ram got it right with the 4th gen, they look the best. I love my 2016 1500 SLT
Fyi when you build these on the ram website the features are available now. You can get the premium light package on the big horn again which was not available when you made this video.
Yes, some things have been coming back, but in very unconsistent ways. We just got in a level 1 rebel that had power folding mirrors and then we got a level 2 and it doesn’t. Also just got in a custom order level 2 Laramie today, still only to 2-way lumbar, not 4-way like it used to be. Seems they’re adding features as they get them and taking them out when they don’t🤷🏼♂️
I just ordered a 22 laramie WITH LEVEL B package So far i have figured out that it will NOT have 3 things the 21 did.. it has NO wireless charging pad It has NO ventilated seats It has NO blind spot and cross traffic. Im sure i will find out more as i look.. Its ashame, first laramie ever, missing standard laramie things... Sucks..
It was the normal Mirrors. And for 22 and I think 21 the power mirror tow mirrors on the 1500s are now power fold(at least until the shortages started) we had a Limited and a TRXs both of them with tow mirrors that were power folding with surround view camera.
Just as my ‘21 Rebel was arriving for delivery a few months ago after a 4 month build delay, I heard about the new GT Package including the console shifter I miss so much and was a little bummed. Now with some of the options I have not even being available on the Rebel in ‘22, I’m glad I ordered it when I did!
I am still going to wait till the body change on the 2500 and 3500 trucks. Thought in 22 but now maybe 23 I hope. Thought they discontinued the manual in the cummins?
Do the ram 2500 and 3500 laramie have power folding mirrors? Also do they have the cp3 pump or the cp4 junk on the cummins? Want to order one but not into paying more for less.
Not surprised by this at all especially in todays market, a 2019 ram rebel with level 2 and the rebel 12 package cost 56k. In 2021 a rebel with level 1 alone cost 56k. Prices rise and we lose features sadly.
I'm glad you made this video and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that. Ram is fucking up really. Raising the prices and taking away useful features! Like the Laramie. They took away the technology and safety package! Like wtf! That's the truck I was going to get too! Now I'm not because of that.
Also: 1. You can no longer get blindspot/cross traffic monitoring in the Laramie. Also, you can’t get adaptive cruise control , lane keep assist or pedestrian braking in the Laramie anymore but you can get lane keep assist and Pedestrian braking in the Big Horn. (lower trim level) This is a mess. 2. Looks like you can’t get the digital rear view mirror or head up display in the Laramie or Limited anymore. I built it out on Ram’s website and there was no package with these options. Maybe these are standard on the Limited? I just noticed that you can get the Head up display and the digital rearview mirror in the Big Horn. Also, I just noticed that the Equipment Group A for the Limited s not coming up on Ram's website. I just saw it there yesterday. Crazy. I'm waiting for my almost fully loaded 2022 Laramie to be shipped to the dealership but I'm thinking that I might get a Limited instead.
It's amazing how Chevy and GMC premium trucks Can offer a variety of engine choices capable of doing over 400 hp But the engineers for ram can't seem to figure out how to increase the 395 hp on all their trucks equipped with a hemi engine. But you can get a after market ProCharger. That can increase hp over 400 or close to 500 hp. Everyone doesn't use their truck for off roading which is only offer on the Ram 1500 TRX engine
@@bundles987 lmao, people should have to sign papers before buying one saying that for every serious accident you get the ram logo pressed into your face. Once a ram guy always a ram guy lol.
Biggest mistake they ever did was getting rid of the power folding mirrors. Seems like they downgraded the 2022 basically. Ram is going to lose alot of business.
