I was so happy to find all of these treasures over the last several months! What was your favorite? Have you found any fun treasures recently?

I can absolutely see why you bought the snowman, cigar box, and bed set. Lovely.

The cigar box is a fun find. It brings back memories of elementary school. We always got a new cigar box for start of school at the local grocery store to house our school supplies. 1960s resourcefulness right there!

Oooh, my favorite items are the clear Christmas tree plate, the clear glass snowman and of course the beautiful shams!

Oh Paula: You have the best sources, variety & richness in thrift items, and great prices in your area. Many of the items in this & your other hauls, I have never seen here in my area ( Ontario, Canada). I very much enjoy & learn a lot from your finds.

The metal plates with recipes on them I had in the 1980's in my kitchen. I was an Avon lady for a bit and had a lot of Avon decor. I am a huge Beatrix Potter fan also. I just reread all that I have this year. In the 1970's, some of the hard bound books came with a tiny figurine of the main character.

The trivet is from the 1960s I have one, a friend gave it to me for my "hope chest"

I was lucky enough to be gifted the Chronicles of Narnia when I was a child. I absolutely loved them So what did the lion say when I opened my wardrobe and asked him what he was doing there? He said Narnia business🤣

I absolutely love your Christmas Tin plates from Avon! They really have to be displayed I would have snapped those up if I had come across them. And that plate with the little ball legs… it is so pretty and filled me full of Christmassy feelings. Again I would find a way of displaying it standing up. The lead crystal snowman is so cute. I love everything you found. When I was really tiny, my Aunt used to let me pick a Beatrice Potter book and I would look at the pictures in bed. Lovely memories

You are lucky. Goodwill and Salvation Army is very expensive in Northern Virginia.
