Hi thx for the support . Prepare yourself 😉 getting slugs to shoot good isn’t as easy as pellets 😉 First thing you want to do is ask yourself what kind of weight slugs you want to shoot ? Lighter ones will give you a bigger shotcount and heavier less offcours but also puts more demand on your system. I would always advise a good lead base slug like the Javelins or the ZAN slugs But these have a price tag offcours The little cheaper option and still a very good slug are the Knockout slugs by JSB or the H&N slugs . They are not pure lead based but I have very good experience with them In terms of speeds there is no magic number I am afraid. Every gun/barrel likes it a little different, but between 980-940 is what you are aiming for . Try the slugs you have chosen in that velocity range at different speeds and see what performs the best . And then I haven’t talked about the tune yet that has to be in balance/ harmony 😉

@@Airbuks thanks for the suggestions, turns out the pin was too long which caused the jams. I was wondering if it’s normal for the hammer to no longer free float when not cocked on higher hammer spring settings 16/2.5 and up? Thank you

Yes that’s correct, the new valve knob had a similar thing installed in it from the factory, adding the rubber ball will limit your max velocity 👍

Your son will love the MKII and he can also upgrade it it slowly as he wants , it still is a awesome gun . And you can almost make a M3 out of it 😉 Good luck 🍀 with the giveaway

Thx for the support mate 🙏🏻 you can indeed upgrade your MKII to almost a M3 but you won’t be able to upgrade to a dual regulator or quick tune system . That quick tune is kind of handy when you frequently change settings. But good to see that you can bring the MKII up to speed 😉 Good luck with the giveaway

If you can’t reach to the proper measurement it means your hammerspring pretension is to high and you need to lower it . With the tungsten hammer you anyway cat use the max setting or the impact won’t cock but the er tea weight in the hammer makes up for it

@@Airbuks You are absolutely correct, I have set my micro wheel to the max at 16. Thank you this helps me a lot. So what max setting can I set the micro wheel at?

When the hammer and spring was in did you try to reduce the hammerspring tension to see if it would cock then ?

@@Airbuks no I didn’t today was my first time ever taking it apart and working on it

@@AlwaysCovered1227 it is possible if you have to much hammerspring tension the hammer can’t go back far enough to engage the sear .

217 seems to shoot better in my m3 (fully upgraded), how was ur results with 217?

@@ShadowFiend198400 217 was border line 217.5 better and 218 best . Every barrel is different and if 217 works I would stick with it. I did notice a speed increase with the smaller diameter slugs .
