I bought this game when it first released, was fun at first, stopped mid way because it eventually became more frustration than fun. Tried again with a friend when the multi-player released,and for me it was whole new experience, I'm in love with the game, I just tend to forget about all the frustrations when with a friend, often times I'm just laughing at my friend or he's laughing at me, there's just something about pulling your friend up by his head when he goofs a jump or holding onto him as he's trying to climb, I feel the objective really isn't to get to the elevator at the end but to just explore the sandbox, which I feel there's more incentive to do when with friends, more friends mean more lifting power, meaning more things you can experiment with, more silly unintended things that can happen. It's just a silly fun time, yeah it is fun to watch, often times funnier when the person you're watching is playing with other people because that's just where the fun is, game lacks content right now, but workshop and new levels are in the works and I cannot wait. So my advice would be, if you're looking to give this a go, find a friend who is also willing, it'll be a different experience.

yeah just like everything else, but my point is that with extra people, it opens up more things to do that you cannot with just one character due to its limitations, i.e. carrying larger and heavier objects, you couldn't break off the stone henge in the castle level, carry it over to the catapult and throw it over into the castle wall with just one player.

I played this game to completion in one night with my old room mate from college. We were laughing to the point of tears throughout the night. It definitely has the capacity to be fun, but I really think it is best enjoyed as a two player game. The grabbing mechanic could definitely use some polish though.

I played the whole game with my brother in online coop and it was an absolutely funny and enjoyable experience. Doing high fives and pushing each other to the edges never gets old. The best part was the boat map: when we realised we could literally sail a boat we were amazed, then when we got to steer the big cargo ship and move huge intermodal containers with chains, we were ecstatic! But I agree that playing by myself would have been a sadder experience, almost a chore. The clunky controls are only funny if somebody else shares the moment. I do recommend this game mostly if you plan to coop.

I think the PC version is probably the best version as it comes with online co op, the game becomes a lot more enjoyable with friends.

This is one of those games where you kind of have to play multiplayer wise. It makes a LOT of the puzzles more interesting and a lot of the tiny annoyances like the camera become a laughing point or is lost in conversation with your friends.

I got it in a humble bundle for I believe 1 euro for three games (so 33 cents for this game) and that was worth it. 14,99 though? Nah. Might pick it up for 4,99 on Switch but it probably won't ever be that.

I love it but that’s because I’ve only ever played it with a friend and we just goofed off the whole time. I think with open ended games like this you have to make your own fun at points when the game lulls.

In many respects this reminds me of octodad with less story, the game is interesting but the controls set you up for almost instant rage quit. The camera and the controls are a devils game, but in the end it can be enjoyable as longs as it is at the right price. This kind of game could easily sell and prosper with a more consistent control system and a transparency for the gamer to be able to see what they are doing

Personally I don’t think it’s worth it at all, it’s frustrating in a bad way, not like in a way like a Mega Man game or a Battletoads game would be. The first few levels are fun, they’re short stages and they’re fun to go through, but after the castle level, the game really goes to shit. The water level was really annoying to try get through, using the row boat was kinda hard, getting the raft to go in the right place was kinda tricky, trying to get the boat off of the shore took waaaaay longer than it should have, and then the boat was really easy to use. I managed to get myself stuck near the lift to the top of the mountain to the point where I couldn’t get back to it no matter how hard I tried. I ended up deleting the game out of frustration, it’s an annoying that’s not fun at all to play by yourself.

Would have paid the full $15 to get it on Switch, but luckily got it for $7.49. Split joy-con controls work a lot better than I expected, but it’s still better to have joy-con grip and a pro controller for two-player.

Online multiplayer for Human Fall Flat is only available on the PC version for now, however bringing online multiplayer to consoles seems to be the dev's top priority as of now. I believe you can play with strangers on PC, however I'm not sure if that will carry onto the inevitable online update for consoles.

Yeah, you’ll need another set to play with a buddy. The game is looking for two paired sets of joy cons and doesn’t see them. This disabled multiplayer as a selectable option which is why everyone is confused about the multiplayer aspect. Some games take advantage of the “split pair” controllers like Mario Kart 8, but this isn’t one of them.

Yeah. I played this game for 4 or 5 hours I think and got pretty far. I can usually adapt to a games' controls and enjoy them at least, but this game just became overly frustrating and not fun to play with how precise you have to be with such an imprecise and drunk-like character. I think your review is fair.

Played this game off Xbox Gamepass, it's a pretty fun physics puzzler (When played for free) but there's hardly any levels in it, I was disappointed at the lack of stages and the fact the game just sorta ends abruptly. I don't know if the dev has given up on the title or what but it is kinda a shame... I have to say the fun aspects of the game are really the physics and how your ragdoll character interacts with them, can be a blast when playing multiplayer and having people flung around the map and getting caught in some hilarious mishaps. I don't think this game is worth buying in its current state, maybe the price of a typical arcade game, or less. If the Developer starts actually adding more levels then I might say pick it up.

This is one of the best cooperative games ever. I never laughed so much playing a game with a friend. It's not just funny but also has a really intelligent gameplay I've never seen before. Graphics, sound etc. are completely irrelevant in this game!
