These videos are so fun they give me life ;-; And dontchu worry, the next episodes (and rest of the show lol) will focus more on more characters like the defenders etc. I'm just happy you're havin a good time with the show cause it will just keep getting better with more focus on the characters and why soccer means so much to them. And btw a keeper can leave the goal at any point in the game, but when they leave the penalty area (the big box that is painted on the field around the goal) you aren't allowed to use your hands as a keeper, so that they basically now have the role of any other player. So if your keeper leaves that area you technically have an advantage since you now play 11 vs 10 players on the field, but you leave your goal wide open and if your offense is countered the entire team has a really hard time not immidietly getting a goal. The keeper has to run all the way back and then still has to somehow catch the ball without their stamina and while their reflexes have tired from running so much and if another player tries to defend the goal they are on their own and obviously can't use their hands, so stopping a shot is neigh impossible. I love this mechanic since it gives players the freedom to play in a way that expresses their personality the best (both in Inazuma and real life) and makes for very tense and interesting game situations, where one mistake could lead to either side's victory. Btw an offensive keeper, who leaves their goal a lot to help out their team is called "Sweeper Keeper". This is a risky all or nothing playstyle that is very punishing if you just make a tiny mistake, so it's not used as often. But if you are like me and think that kind of stuff is fucking hype, check out the keeper Rene Higuita aka "el Loco", who was probably the best and flashiest sweeper keeper ever. Even if you maybe don't care about soccer, this dude's playstyle is so mesmerizing. Oh and he used an actual hisatsu in a match once, just look up Rene Higuita Scorpion Kick on youtube. Dude's a legend. So yeah, I love that Endou is a player like that, who will risk getting pushed back in order to pursue his goal. It really fits the character and will make for a lot of interesting and hype moments in the future Anyways thanks for the videos and stay healthy c:

I completely forgot about Mikage Sennou’s simulation sequence, that’s such a cold opening

Mikage Sennou's dub name is apparently called Brainswashing Junior High, which didn't make too much sense in the anime but rather in the games where it is more explicitly implied they were under mind control. And as you can see from this match, Endou is the kind of person who still tries to do the right thing even if the enemy may be overconfident towards him and his teammates, which is something that you'll see decently often.
