Humans vs Bots on RARE AoE2 Map 

My dad and I used to do stuff like this in AOE 1 all the time. Great childhood and early teen memories. Sadly he didn't like aoe2, the bots were much more aggressive and he liked to play slow and build up.

Same,even in old aoe2 with barbarian expert AI vs noobs or other similar things,it's nice to compare once in a while

At 1400 u can somewhat easily beat 1v2 extreme ai. If u let them boom(for maximum challenge ie) so that they both get to 200 pop so that they have 400 pop vs ur 200 its a bit difficult but u can beat them consistently at 1400

i just want to play a game that calms me down and relaxes me. i don't typically like games that stress me out.

It's really easy to beat ai if you just go fast archers, I've beaten extreme ai easily with it. The issue is they keep sending their vils back to the woodline or gold that your archers are on and you just pick the vills.

@@colekaine5428 hmmm yeah i Dont know how long this has been happening but the extreme ai is performing a bit worse than it was a couple of months back usually they make it stronger and fix the ai against cheesy things real players do(eg viper was beating 5 extreme ai woth the help of cheese without cheesing im pretty sure he couldn't this was nearly a yr and a half back he has a complete series abt it too) He just kept a few archers scattered here and there and ai would completely loose its mind and finally resign but they fixed it.But recently i found some changes to the ai that was bad for it but wasnt previously there and last yr they made a change to the ai where it says GL HF (insert ur name here) but now it doesn't anymore

​@@martinm.6472 Leśny means "forest" in adjective, and "patataj" is onomatopoeia of sound which horse hoove makes in galop. I guess you could translate that as "Forest galop"

@@martinm.6472 Basically its "Horsie of the forest" or "Forest horsie". BUT translating "patataj" as horsie does not convey the whole meaning. Its a horsie, but with diminutive and *kawaii* energy. Its like the word 8yo girl would use to describe unsually cute horsie :P.

That's news to me. I find very early to be the most controllable. Later on AI just adds counter units to whatever you make.

yea idk man, on an open map the post imperial extreme AI is on meth, if you dont cheese with some weird castle shit then this is unplayable. early game and midgame is very playable for me as a casual, because there i can match their micro and make use of the fact that im not running on scripts

i made a bot game of 2 DE vs 6 Conquerors, DE wins. Conquerors AI is superbad, also it always attacks the score leader, so keep your score low and you're invisible in FFA.

just join rank man. You'll find a place. You'll lose a ton of games and then slowly start winning as you approach your ELO. Or vice versa. Guess it depends on how good you are.

Just as the other guy said, just plat really casually until you win a game, then it means you arrived at the good spot, and you'll play against people at your level (if you can learn a build order for the first 25 vils you'll be surprised how much this helps you for the rest of the game)

Judging from the skill difference green is probably that one friend in the group who is a bit better at the game and keeps pushing his friends to play it with him

There is a level called hardest that is between hard and extreme. It's weird.

blue needs to get the basics down and trailed pretty much all game. He needs at least 10 games on this map on hard to improve before going for this difficulty.
