I had hoped to spend a little time detailing the car this weekend but I doubt the weather will be obliging. I 'll settle for a minor clean and an oil change on the driveway. Apart from that It's going to be gym time and decorating. I know....rock and roll lifestyle.

I always put a sloped piece of wood under any vehicles back wheel, because my bed doesn't tilt, if I get to the destination and I'm on a slight slope the wrong way then that piece of wood helps me push the car off.

Great question, gets asked a lot. It's just something I do because my bed doesn't tilt. If I get to a destination on a slope and the truck is nose down a bit, then the block of wood helps me off load and stops the vehicle on the back rolling towards the cab once I let the straps and handbrake off. I've always done it really after I had a job once where I couldn't take the handbrake off because the car would roll into the headboard.

In reply to having a good weekend thanks but wasn't really a good one lol, spent 6hrs in A&E then back to eye clinic on Sunday to have eye checked. God I live an exciting life I really don't know how I cope with so much excitement lol. Hope you had a better weekend than me lol.

Got to change the petrol return hose on my Mk7 Transit Van, looks like I’ve got to drop the tank ! Fun weekend when your 64 and disabled. Would of been nice of them to tell you the car was drivable. Yep when I had my cleaning business it was invoice them at the end of the month (so that could be 30 days) then 30 days to pay ! I feel your pain 😢. 👍🏽😎
