Top draw with that Learner Ben, I'm like you I have a long long fuse but that guy probably have ended up with an axe through his bonnet. I do everything from house moves to building rings for Mauy Thai events around the country, The event before last weeks was in the Isle of WIght and 1 of the several tools I carry happens to be an axe which actually has more action then some of what I have to carry. It's disgusting that people like that guy think its A ok to bully Learners, Always give them space and respect they're learning for god sake

Give yourself a pat on the back Ben. I love your attitude mate. We've all got to learn to drive. People hate tractors. One thing that scared me was a blind bend and a twat in a Caddy in my path over taking where i was doing 50kph in a tractor and i had to slam on the breaks. Scary moment. At least no one was hurt or killed ❤

No criticism mate just an opinion but I would’ve had a few inches of overhang as opposed to having the front bumper sitting over the winch or bracketsso when the van bounces it doesn’t hit the bumper, top job as always mate keep it up 💪

You wouldn't have been far from me in old G town that day. What a clown that white van owner is parking in the gate entrance like that, clearly says Fire Access on the gate, you ain't getting no fire truck through there son! 100% agree on the moving over thing, and I wish they'd make it illegal here too, Americans can't drive for toffee, but that's one thing they do do right, if I'm in the 2nd lane I will usually flash someone to invite them over in that situation. And massive respect for your good deed with the BMW plank, honestly, how do people forget what it was like learning, been 23 years now since I passed and I still remember what a nervous wreck I was, I'll always make a point of leaving extra space and be more patient, my street is a learners route, so you often get people practicing parking, I'll probably wait 4-5 car lengths back, so there's less pressure. I was telling a mate on the way to a quiz Sleaford way the other week, we share the driving sometimes (mostly when I don't fancy a beer, he doesn't drink), what a nervous driver I was back then, he didn't believe me, I said on my first 2/3 test tries my legs were shaking I was so nervous, he was like "I could never imagine you that nervous". Just goes to show what age, experience, and driving all over the world can do, just coz I'm an assured driver now, I will never forget what it was like learning and the couple of years after.

Top content yet again Ben. That van was quite large but can't get to grips with the fact you didn't fold in the mirrors on it as they seemed to stick out quite away but probably not further out than your mirrors, but in my eyes would have given you a better view when looking behind you and also less chance of breaking them on bushes. Just an observation not a criticism of your skills as you are the professional, It's been a few years since I last did any recovery work. Anyway keep up the good work.
@SleafordRecovery
@SleafordRecovery 10 месяцев назад
Mate there's a very good reason why I didn't fold them in...I totally forgot! 😂😂. I usually do! I spotted them as soon as I left and was more bothered about the fuel economy it would affect on Ronnie ha ha. Cheers for commenting mate, I knew someone would 😂

Awsome buddy top marks for putting the choice driver in place totally called for so fist bump to you for that . Just a quick fact I'm quite a large bloke a bit muscular but I sweat like hell especially whilst doing recoveries ,it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who changes tops about 5 times a day ,and a quick question from this fact why don't super heros sweat . I need to know this maybe you can answer this cause you never see the hulk walking around with the just got out the shower look . Anyways excellent as always have a good week to you and family Inc Malcolm much love Mark ,Emily and gang at Rooster Recovery

Hi Ben. Great video. Sorry I hit the send button. Bloody phone. I was going to say. I think that's the bridge I had to turn around at many years ago I had my old Iveco spec lift a ex AA on a N plate 1996 monster of a truck. Absolutely crap on fuel but could lift a tank. But sat nav took me down that road. If its the same one looks the same one. It's got a grass bank on both sides coming down to the bridge so I had to turn around with a car on the spec middle of the afternoon. Absolute nightmare. It's a shame your not more local to me as I get my diesel cheap cheap I pay £1 a ltr sometimes less depending on the amount. Normally get 600ltrs for £600 Helps with the cost of breakfast in the morning 🤣🤣. I call it my free breakfast fuel. Be safe and happy trucking 👍👍

@@SleafordRecovery yeah it was a iveco daily think 2.7 5 speed. The dogs back in the day. But wider than normal the body stuck out a few inches past cab and the rear arches were 5 mil steel so a few things got taken out. Handy for getting through tight gaps they will only park like that once 🤣🤣 Have a good week mate
