Jerome, been struggling but still showing up. Just when I think your videos can't get better you drop one like this. You are a huge inspiration with real advice and real life experiences. HUNGRY FOR SUCCESS, NOT FOOD! I'm putting that somewhere for me to see everyday. What a powerful phrase to say to ourselves! That's worthy of a T-shirt.

I came across the term "rolling fasts" on reddit 3 years ago...then I came across your videos soon after. I have always felt like they could work for me, but I've never managed to ROLL into a fast after breaking one until NOW. I'm currently on my 3rd fast of May, and when we have our coaching session, I will be in the middle of my 4th fast! Thank you for the motivation, inspiration, and accountability!
edit: on day 4 i have now lost 10.2 lbs! bout to be so skinny yall almost on day 4 of my 100 day fast I've lost exactly 8 lbs so far and I am in deep ketosis. my headache is gone and I was actually dancing randomly so that lets you know how much energy I've got lol. wish me luck guys I really need to get this weight off
I’ve been going strong with my fasting challenge since March, I’ve gone from 271 to today 228 lbs. Doing 84 hours fast getting easier with time, with that said I’ve realized how much time I’ve gained back by not spending on shopping for food, eating out, making meals, etc. Now finding time to do things I enjoy but also to keep my mind away from food.
Hey y’all!! I’m doing the R5/2 each week. I have a plan to go for the next 11 weeks. I know I’ll probably meet my goal within 6 weeks, but I still want to keep the 11 weeks because maintenance is the challenge part for me. But I’m DEFINITELY gonna do it this time! With God’s help, of course 🙏🏾🙌🏾 Blessing la to each of you on your journey!💪🏾
I'm 72 hours in on my 91 hr fast. Feeling good and not hungry. Trusting the process and being patient. This is my lifestyle now. Fasting lengths subject to change, but fasting nonetheless.
@cillad1963 it's the only thing that works for me also. Years ago I talked myself into stopping fasting and it was my biggest mistake. Good luck with your fasting.
I've completed 2 65-66 hr fasts and I started another yesterday. I did end up eating 2 days in a row this past refeed due to my menstrual cycle. I cannot make myself fast through the worst of it so I just decided to be kind to myself and go with it, but I'm feeling good again and glad to be fasting again. I'm down 9.4 since I started a week ago. Sleep is another one I really need to keep working on, I have the hardest time with it sometimes.
Accountability update: Fast #1: 68 hours Fast #2: 47 hours Currently on Fast #3 14 hours and 11 minutes in, planning to go 65-68 hours. Total weight loss since the start on 5/8/2024 -10.2 pounds which includes still losing after refeeds 🎉. Today is 5/14/2024 Imperfect Consistency: I didn't walk on Sunday or Monday. Didn't do my planned walk in the a.m. today on Tuesday. Also I need to prioritize and follow through with the items on my to-do list which I have not followed through on. This is about a whole life change and not just weight loss. Get it together girl! (Yelling at myself)
I completed a 69-hour fast today. My weight loss since 4 May is 5kg. After refeeding, I’m a few minutes into my next fast (60 hours). Your videos have been so helpful. On the second day of my 69-hour fast, I was so tempted to eat due to depressive thoughts creeping in. Keeping busy didn’t help. Instead of breaking my fast, I watched people doing the 10K eating challenges. Those videos and your support got me through. I look forward to your videos every Sunday. Thank you, Jerome.
I am about to start this extended fast again hopefully I stick to it... I have done a few 42- 48 hour fast but I'm not really getting results because I over eat every time... It is time to take my health seriously
Age: 45 Height: 5'0" Starting weight 5/1: 125lb Current weight 5/14: 127 lb 😅 Goal weight: 108 lb Started with 2MAD and currently doing OMAD Other goals: 10,000-12,500 steps/day Pilates x 2 days a week, weights x 1 day a week Drink more water and reduce caffeine intake I've finally reached true OMAD fasting. My weight has gone up because of a massive calorie intake over Mother's Day but i will keep marching on. I'm gonna go in for a 40+ hour fast right now. My long term goal is to build my fasting muscle to do a 65-72 hr fast.
Update 5/14 evening: I had to stop at the 22:30 mark because something came up and tomorrow afternoon I won't be able to refeed. But still glad to have reached my goal of truly doing OMAD.
Latest Stats: 6’3” and started Journey at 344lbs Current: 308.6lbs Started April 9th with rolling 22-26 hour fasts Slowly cleaning my meals up and getting to eating only meat, veggies, and fruit….i completely cut out the soda, the bread in various forms, and Snickers….but boy howdy…sometimes late at night I get the urge for a candy bar so bad I’d finger blast a Sasquatch for one.
Hey fasting family 👋hope you are all great❤im on my 3rd day of a 5 day, and i cheekily weighed in this morning and Woohoo im 8lbs away from Goal, its been hard last couple fasts as ive not been seeing any or much loss but a beautuful commenter told me id come so far and to not lose motivation ❤wishing Huge success for us all.
Oooh! I didn’t know you were doing a consistency challenge! Can you do these every month? The thing I have been consistently doing all month is walking at least 5k steps a day and closing my rings every single day so far! Now I want to start some rolling fasts. Today is my first day fasting, aiming to do rolling 72s. Thanks for the motivation, I’m in charge, not my cravings 🥰
Yes, I’m continuing the May 65s! …I am losing a bit of fat, but like you I am in a maintenance range so no big change. …I also am staying fit (cardio, weight training and yoga stretching). 😃
I have to agree with you about moving from enthusiasm to consistency. I have been doing carnivore for fourteen months with various lengths of fasting, longest being twenty one days. The last couple of months have been a bit more difficult, I can stay on plan with no problem for the health benefits. But I can only consistently lose weight with fasting and that has gotten harder. For the last couple of weeks I have adopted your schedule of ninety two to ninety four hour fasts with four hours of eating.. I have stayed away from the scale, but my clothes are a bit looser. I still must lose about fifty lbs until I face the next great challenge, maintenance. At seventy three this is the ninth time in my life to have lost one hundred lbs, and I failed to maintain it the first eight times, this is a drag on my confidence.
Current weight: 140.6 Goal weight:137-138 May 11th: 139.6 lbs May 12th: 137.8(Refeed Day for Mothers Day) Broke fast at 45 hrs May 13th: 140.6 lbs Currently 34 hrs into a 67-68 hr fast Im kind of in experimentation mode now that I'm almost to goal weight. Seeing what foods will cause more/less water weight after my refeeds. I notice if I introduce more sugar that it'll take at LEAST 69 hrs to remove it completely from my system. A 44-45 hr fast only partially. I have a trip in August so I'll have to keep that in mind. May 15th is a refeed day so I'll be interested to see what my weight looks like today and tomorrow. Everyone is getting great results. So awesome. Keep going everyone!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
My fasting protocol is 155hrs I eat on Sundays I have lost 10lbs in 3weeks. I followed my glucose and ketones levels to this protocol. Everyone's body is different. Did I think I would have to eat once a week to see success not but it is what it is. Consistency is key! Thanks Jerome
Last meal at 2:15 PM EST today, got my snake juice going. Last time I fasted was Dec 2018 and I did 4 days, refeed, 6 days - and never fasted again, just circumstantially fell out of it and didn't get back to it Current weight: 210 lbs - 5'10" - 31 y/o male Let's see where I'm at on June 14 8)
Also your weight plateau Jerome is because you're getting closer to your goal weight. Like you said the scale does not define you. You're looking good bro!!!
Once you're at your goal weight, how do you plan to maintain it? I'm going to build up to 72h rolling fasts, but I'm also considering what I'll need to do to maintain once I reach my goal. I'm female, 47, 5'4" and currently weigh 164.4 lbs. Goal weight is 115-120.
Hi Jerome. Me again :) Can we stuff our faces during refeeds, or is there a caloric limic? During refeeds, can we eat whatever, or does it have to be keto, to maintain fat loss? I'm not doing the walking due to back pain - wondering if this will slow the weight loss? Currently down 5kgs! :) thank you!
