Yall can we give props for Hemlocks voice actor? Dude conveyed an unethical monster of a scientist as cold and emotionless, and then made him sound scared shitless when he knew his luck had run out. Great performance 👏
Usually, it takes one blaster shot to kill someone. And considering Hemlock wasn't wearing any kind of armor, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he was probably already dead after at least the 2nd shot. Hunter & Crosshair just wanted to keep shooting the prick till he fell over 😅
I love how throughout the whole season, hemlock is always chillingly calm but when he’s being stared down by crosshair and hunter with his whole base being compromised, he genuinely seems mortified about his fate
I actually wanted Omega to give Crosshair a hug from the very beginning of the show and even more so when he finally defected from the Empire, and I can safely say I was not disappointed! The hug in the rain was the most adorable thing ever!
@@haydenfowle7576technically it was the bad batch's fault, if you go back further enough, had the batch kidnapped crosshair in episode 1 season 1, crosshair wouldn't have joined the empire to betray them then for the bad batch to attempt to break him out.
@@Himmiefan Blown up BY a Kaminoan too. Man got karma'd when fate gave him every chance to walk away if he just escaped with the Clones. But no, he couldn't stop being an opportunistic bastard, and his luck finally ran out.
@Lazarultos he also completed his mission by killing the last of the Kaminoans. So unfortunately he destroyed all the kaminoans but was himself destroyed.
Yeah these shots were for Tech, Omega and entire Bad Batch team. I was so happy seeing Hemlok getting shot multiple times Hunter and Crosshair just waisted him by blasting his ass off really crazy.
He was a deranged psycho who made a living out of and derived pleasure from torturing and experimenting on people, and he was dealt like like the monster he was, monsters don’t go down easy either
How great was this. Characters you care about, a villain you hate, a rainswept landing pad, an impossible shot from a broken man, and a family reunited. Proper Star Wars, no matter who owns the brand.
Imagine back in 2009 watching it in its infancy, and then getting a glimpse of what it was gonna like like 15 years later? I think 7 year old me wouldve had a fever dream
@@chuckingreaper8654 How would we know? Perhaps he could use the window to avoid getting crushed. After all, it's Star wars. Death is never final here.
I know losing his hand is symbolic of letting go of his pain, trauma, and misdeeds…and only then finally get over his mental block (with his non-dominant hand too!) But it’s still rough seeing Crosshair like that.
This is such a satisfying end for all 4 characters here. Hunter, Omega, and Crosshair ends up trusting each other enough to communicate with just eye contact. Crosshair hits the most insanely difficult one in a million shot of his life after losing a hand and being tortured for hours. And Hemlock of course was a great villain that 100% got what he deserved.
Yeah, Thrawn at least cared about personnel and was fond of art, thus why we rooted for him. Hemlock though, is an actual evil being. Smart but at the same time purely evil to the point he mocked death of Tech and kidnapping children
I’m really happy Crosshair lived through this finale and redeemed himself. I used to dislike him, but this season made him appreciate his character a lot
I love how Hemlock went out, no glamorous or glorified ending for him, he didn't deserve it. He was genuinely a POS, experimenting on humans and force sensitive kids he had kidnapped. F that guy. Went out like the chump he was.
Can we just say, that this series started with Hunter and Cross Hair conflicting on whether or not to kill a jedi padawan (Young Kanan), and the series ends with them on the same page saving a young Omega. Amazing.
Plan 7- Execute Plan 55- Rush in Plan 72- Hijacker Plan 82- Shockwave Plan 88- Seeker Plan 99- Sacrifice To be honest, I don’t know if I got this right.
0:16 - 0:23 I just love this scene and the music in the background so much With crosshair doesn’t want to shoot and might risk hitting omega and hunter confronting him that she know what she doing and wait when the time is right then when the time is right he shot cuff and killing hemlock in the process
I like how he was handled in the finale. He was calm and composed for most of it, despite his facility being compromised. It was only in his final moments where he finally lost his composure and was gunned down.
Really liked Hemlock, and I was glad he was still competent to the end and only killed by other Imperial's failings and the power of plot armour, very solid villain for a very good show that I'm going to miss!
Honestly i wouldnt even call it plot armor that got him killed. In the end it was his understimation of the bad batch that got him killed, specifically that he underestimated Omega. He predicted what the others would do, but the fact he thought he could use one of them as a hostage was pretty foolish considering what he had just seen them do, but when desperation hits you do whatever you think will save you, and that one slipup really sold it for him lol. Amazing scene and honestly despite him being a literal space nazi, hes definitely one of my favorite stat wars villains and his voice actor did absolutely phenomenal
He was really a doctor Mengele of Star Wars sad that we can't get more and much darker his experiments. When he said about about reprogramming clones and some of his CX assasins stood behind him i thought that this assasin will remove his helmet and see tech, cody or some sort of bad batch clones but in darker version of themselves and it would be epic fighting with dark version of themselves cause this is what we fear the most becoming someone we don't want to.
This was exactly what I hoped for. Everything he worked on was destroyed, every guard of his was dead. It ended with a personal faceoff, which was much cooler than him being eaten by the Zillo beast. I loved this final episode.
If Hunter and Crosshair didn’t simultaneously unload on him after the 1st two shots he probably would’ve had enough strength left to stand and fire off a few of his own. Kinda wild to see how strong he is!
Theres a few possibilities i can see on how he managed to still stand which are 1: He was actually dead/dying and his body was just reacting to the impacts, kinda like how people still stumble when theyve been shot and can even kick after dying, 2: Hes just straight up built different and was still capable of shooting them before the wounds took him, 3: (and what id consider most likely) he wore the star wars equivalent of a bulletproof vest under his clothing, or some sort of protective piece which obviously wasnt enough to stop him from being knocked back to the edge. I like that one because it means hed still likely be 100% alive during the fall, dude deserved it. And 4: Being a genetic scientist and moral monster, i wouldnt be suprirsed if he made some sort of augmentations to himself like extra organs or something, but that ones a little far fetched. Regardless, im just glad he got one hell of a death scene, great send-off for a perfectly evil villain
@@seanmoran9383 This scene is my favorite, and his death is definitely a great send-off! He did admit to experimenting on himself last season which could mean he’s able to withstand blaster shots better than others 🤔
Anyone notice that Crosshair is using Hunter as a “shooter’s rest” and is lining up from the left side due to the absence of his dominant trigger (right) hand… #details
Fitting the Bad Batch avenge their brothers, Kamino, and all clones who they’ve tortured, used, and killed on a night of pouring rain. It always rains on Kamino.
He was lit to angry to die.. Look at his face. He was still standing after hit 4. The last one knocked him over. He even tried to fight back. The first shot was not lethal, second was at the side of his chest. The third one was on a nasty spot with a fourth and fifth coming. Rip
I kinda wish Hunter and Crosshair didn’t unload on him so fast and simultaneously after the first 2 shots so we could see just how strong he is. Dude was a menace
As soon as those strings kick in at 0:03 I really felt the stakes of Hemlock threatening to take Omega down with him, and why it was so important that Crosshair not miss this time.
The difference being Scorch has to take that many shots to die, and even then, he might be alive while falling and is the fall that kills him while Hemlock was dead after th few shots, the rest was just a personal execution.
@@haydenfowle7576i doubt that. After executing a whole village he ain’t be redeemed especially because he probably got some operative treatment himself
I watched the finale with my cousin (she’s 7 btw) And when Hemlock got shot and fell over, she said to me “I hope he rots in hell” and I just laughed my ass off but she got in trouble anyway from my aunt. I love my cousin😂😂
