There is not really an Olympia division today that represents bodybuilders from the golden era; however, Hunter is one of the few bodybuilders that looks like they did....hope he wins the Big O.
I use to workout at Stones Gym in NW Houston & Lee did as well...He is as solid of a Man that you will come across, looks like his Son is cut form the same mold..... Major Props Hunter, keep working hard, 1 more rep!!!!!
Wow! He looked fantastic. Small waist, width, super tight, definitely a deserved winner. On a few of his poses, memories of his dad and his amazing attention to detail popped into my mind. Seems like a great, humble kid, and looking forward to the Olympia in Florida. To ALL those out there, keep training, eat healthy, & stay safe.
THAT was awesome. Lee, ur the man, such a great dad. Ive been watching u guys throughout the training and it just makes me smile... HUNTER IS AMAZING. Love his physique. I c alot of dad there & side tricep pose is CLASSIC, They all r but its 1 of my favorites besides the back double bicep pose which shocked me AND the front double bi, jeez, those arms!!! Wow. Lots of love & respect to all of u people. Good 2c Robin 2, remember her holding Hunter @ the Mr. O lol so fast. Lee, stay young, Robin 2. Look great
I grew up in the 80s reading about and looking at Lee's photos in Muscle and Fitness and Flex magazine. He still looks great! Look at those arms and vascularity.
Congratulations!!! To see you on the phone with your daughter was the icing on the cake! To your Mom and Dad...You can feel how happy and excited they are! All my best to the entire Labrada family!
Hunter, CONGRATULATIONS! I so look forward to seeing you at the Olympia in December! You have a great physique! The rest of the lineup, including Brandon, better come with their A-game now that you're on your way! Lee, I am 46 and I still have my older Brother's issue of Muscle & Fitness (November 1986) when you won the Night of Champions! It's surreal that it is now 34 years later and your son just won his first pro show and is on his way to the O! I can sense your pride!
Man, you looked absolutely fantastic! I see you cracking top 6 at the Olympia. I can see how proud your pop is. Such an awesome moment and what a memory you created. Lee still looks amazing.
Congratulations Mr Labrada, your my new follower and supporter! I’m 46 and also have a 23 and 25 yr old sons so I know how excited your dad is. Until the Big O I wish you the best of luck!
Hunter is an absolute beast and such a great, young representative for bodybuilding. It is clear that he was raised by tremendous parents who must be super proud of him. He has all his priorities in order and will no doubt have a successful career.
So awesome to see the camaraderie between all the competitors during and even after the show. True display of brotherhood and awesome to see Iain who went down to Tampa as a lone wolf to join the celebration afterwards. I think that speaks volumes to the kind of people that all involved are. Excited to see what Hunter can bring to the stage in December and Im sure there will be many improvements to come even after such a great showing in Tampa.
well deserved to this young(ish) gentleman. his manner of speaking, the humble attitude he has toward his training partner (who is just as humble) , inspiring, exemplary. start as you mean to go on, they say. he did and will. congrats. kudos to Bryan for all the work and support he committed.
You can see the drive and love he has in bodybuilding also the love and support from mom and dad. I followed Lee during his Olympia days and I see a lot of Lee in Hunter. " God Speed Hunter " yours for the taking!! 🙏Blessed.....
CONGRATULATIONS LEE LABRADA SIR.THESE ARE YOUR EFFORTS AND HUNTERS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION. LOVE AND RESPECT FROM DNYANESHWAR.VAITY MUMBAI.MAHARASHTRA. INDIA🇮🇳
Great video. Hunter looks like a bigger version of his dad. Just not quite as complete. Lee has always been one of my favorites. Even today he has an awesome physique. A true "Class" bodybuilder and human being.
Havent seen much of this guy...but a good bit of Yates. Is Labrada really small and underwhelming in comparison? I'm not trying to disrespect...just trying to put him on Yates' timeline. No WOW factor with this guy...that fair? Looks like classic physique
Robert Kennedy the first time I personally saw Yates he was second to a SHORT Benaziza.... I was impressed with his conditioning and had legs...still wasn’t a Mass Monster....now I see Labrada in his first contest and his conditioning and his legs are more impressive than our current Mr Olimpia ...he is just starting his journey and already has...(striated tríceps, clutes, calves)...something that pros after years of training still struggle to have....plus the famous Yates 93 black and white pics are a thing that what he is lacking in the back he haves in spades on arms and legs...a Diamond is not made in a year....with all the respect...
@@edwinsilvacolon4689 excellent response. I'm an armchair fan, so will defer to your opinion. Thanks for the detailed reply and insight. Do you think he can put on the mass Dorian did?
Robert Kennedy I never thought Ronnie could beat Levrone and everyone know how that ended....and he was thin and skinny in his early years....I don’t think I know he is...
Dad and son totally different physiques, hunter will be top 5 mr olympia 20. I always adore Lee body very beautiful flow and atheistic just so pleasing to eyes. Good luck hunter . God bless you
Guarantee you they were told not to due to Covid safety. Everyone else was just handed their medal also. I understand that it seems a little over the top and pointless, but I think event organisers just know they need to do every small thing they can to make sure they don't get shut down in the future
I always admired lee and larry scott, and a few others with the muscle like hercules not like juiced up haha.I like that hunter folled in dads footsteps like others have done in many sports.humble hunter is a good kid at 28 and when his muscle matures he will be a monster. My man lee priest give s props and i agree.
A complete lookin perfect bodybuilder like Mr O Flex Lewis. Developing more sweep in his lower lats like a Franco or an Arnold, for double bi's pose, would look additionally super on this physique. Hope he maintains the tempo and goes to much much greater heights of achievements and success. Good luck Hunter !
11:52 what a deeply affectionate and sweet moment between Parents and Child. Reminds me of a ritual I'd do with my sons before a football game. We'd hug and I'd say a quick prayer for protection and courage to play like a winner, and thankfulness for being blessed to play the sport. Beautiful.
