Hunting A Giant Killer Chicken?! | Chicken Feet | Indie Horror Game 

I'm always so impressed with the structural integrity of the vent systems in horror games.

This game was brilliant. The story was better than had any right to be which elevated the entire thing beyond what it already was. It’s a great scary and silly game. Gives the right amount of background information to put enough of the story together.

Hearing Cooper's inner thoughts at 18:00 really made sense. He was just protecting himself since he was mistreated his whole life. This details made Cooper's death much more tragic and sad :(

I never imagined I would sympathize with a giant killer chicken. Poor Cooper, too good for this world. Sebastian was already half corrupted by humanity, it was better to have continued without realizing it :(

That ending got me, wow. For a game with such a goofy premise, it was good! Never thought I'd watch you get chased by a giant chicken 😂

To hear Chris repeatedly say "chicken" in an alarmed voice is _hilarious!_ Especially when the chicken's name is "Coop-er." 😆 "Did the chicken close that??" "I think I'm confusing the chicken quite a bit!!" "Is the chicken _talking_ to me??!" Who knew a game about a killer chicken and a mutant could be both poignant and _so_ clucking funny!! 🐔👍

I was laughing at the giant chicken 🐔, in the middle of the break room at my job, and I had to explain to everyone what I was watching. Told them to go watch and subscribe themselves to see more fun!

Didn't expect that one of the best horror games that i see in the last few months would be about making your way through a secret underground facility while being hunted by giant chicken

Loved the juxtaposition of super dramatic music with an otherwise goofy premise.

Thank you Chris, I enjoyed Chicken Feet. The premise seems silly (catching a giant chicken), but the truth is so much darker. So regarding the story, Eric is the leader of the lab where they experiment on genetically modifying animals. Sebastian was the first genetically engineered human with full intelligence and able to learn, and was planned to show off to the rest of the public. But from the tape recordings, it seems Eric is the perfectionist/OCD type who believes Sebastian is not complete, and refuses to divulge his existence to the public. Sebastian is not treated as a human even though he is given a name, and locked in the lab to be tested and experimented on by Eric. At this time, Eric also created a giant chicken named Cooper, which eventually goes berserk and attacks the lab and saves Sebastian, perhaps as a kindred spirit. Sebastian and Cooper take the opportunity to slaughter the lab crew, which leads to Eric sending people down there to try and retake Cooper, with the latest "volunteer" being the intern. I think I understand why Sebastian killed himself after killing Eric and mercy killing Cooper. When he says he and the intern are humans, and then reiterates himself as a human, he probably realizes the implications of what he's done (taking a life, even for well-deserved revenge such as Eric) means he is no longer acting as what a human should be, and he can no longer live with that.

I wonder if the creator of this game came up with the idea after getting the "1 horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horses" hypothetical.

When you think about it, you are basically trying to trap a feathery dinosaur; so it makes sense that the game kinda silly and hella terrifying all at once

LMAO the chicken animation is so realistic, and the chicken sounds my god I laughed so much because it does reminds me of a chicken 🤣

I can't believe I actually got spooked by a goofy giant chicken and that's the most spooked I've been in a minute

The way the chicken looks at you when in the vents and the adorable sounds it makes are clucktastic!

this was actually pretty compelling. i wish it was longer. they could have held off on showing the chicken and see failures and more build up instead. another ending would have been nice. getting to learn what the effects of choices would have had. it didn't really explain how we ended up in the place after the dream. did the chicken control space? perhaps there was a note missed in the final area since it was rushed though. either way the developer did a good job! i hope they make more and longer content in the future.

Has anyone ever watched Chicken Park, parody of Jurassic Park (shocking, I know) from 1994? That's what this game reminded me of, it's such an obscure film.

Well... This was... Weird and amusing at the same time. Could have been even scarier with a goose instead of a chicken 😂

I hope the devs make a sequel or longer and more fleshed out version of this game.

A game about a giant chicken, shines a light on what exactly it means to "be human", which I take it is you have the choice of what sort of human you become. A monster such as Eric, or despite having been tortured his entire life, a Paragon such as Sebastian.

Yeah this was pretty neat! I like that they ran with the silly premise and made a solid game out of it : it looks good, the voice acting is great, and the giant chicken is animated correctly which I think was important. Nice one!!

I didn't think you'd play this one! At first glance, it's maybe... meme-y? but it's really got a whole lotta heart in its development and I thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Feet. :D Especially that chase music.

A playthrough of this game was recommended to me earlier today, I stopped after a minute thinking "maybe CJU will play this, I better wait". Well, glad I did :)

If this was a little more realistic there would be chicken poop everywhere and the floors would be covered in it. Normal sized chickens produce a lot of poop so I can't imagine how filthy a chicken that size would make the place.

I really love the ending of this game. It keeps you in the dark, literally and metaphorically, while also giving you a closure to the story itself.

Huh! I would never believe I will see you encountering talking giant chicken which actually looks like a chicken. The moral of the story is really troubling - Sebastian who now can be free is realising he is human. So either he's got a free will to do whatever he want or he just understand that, as a human, he can be responsible for a very evil activities and action and he can't cope with that so he feels an urge to shot himself.
