Hunting A Problem Hippo to Provide Meat To an African Village 

The hunt for a big bull hippo that was harassing the local fishermen on the Kwando river in Namibia,
was a exceptional challenge as we are in pursuit of a single male in a very large river system. In addition to the hunt, we will share the recovery of the hippo. the local village will get all of the meat of the bull, which is a valuable source of protein to the local community. in remote Africa, human wildlife conflict is real. the ability of sustainable hunting to be part of the solution is something we are excited to share at A Hunter's Quest.
The future of wild animals across the globe is dependent on our ability to sustain their constantly shrinking habitat. So the question remains. How does this help sustain and preserve the wildlands? It’s very simple, the local communities depend on the revenue generated from sportsmen. They also greatly benefit from the meat harvested during the safaris that take place on their land. Because of this, the game is protected and the habitat preserved.
