Iguana hunting is so much fun and they are good to eat. Outlaw and Lake fork guy came with me to the Cayman Islands and I had to put them on some iguanas. Our good buddy Eddie here in grand cayman hunts them for a living. At five dollars a piece it is probably the funnest job you could ask for. We only went out for a couple of hours and managed to cull around fifty iguanas. Along with the iguanas we got to try a bunch of new fruits that were native to the island. Big thanks to Eddie for making this happen. I hope you all enjoyed this video!

Awesome video. Saw the bunch of guynups and knew exactly what they were. When I went to Jamaica 3-4 years ago the locals stand in the middle of the street and sell them. Unfortunately they are not sold up here in New Jersey. Definitely a unique taste and fruit

my brother used to have a huge iguana that roamed around the house and it LOVED cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds,it would smell it from across the house and come running full speed into the kitchen when it knew my brother had one...he didnt feed it to him often because it wasnt good for him but it was still funny to see.

After you skinned it let it soak in vinegar water .Cut Onions,Green Peper and some garlic and fry in a pan till brown in some oil then add you Iguana in and some salt and peper and smoked paprika and let it simmer til soft

FYI, if you have ever cooked gator or snake before you know to remove as much of the fat as possible as it gives the meat a swampy or muddy flavor. Iguana is exactly the same way. Remove all the fat before cooking.

Visited the Caymans while back. Wife and I ate some “chicken” tacos from a little stand. Funny thing, we never saw any dang chickens, but plenty saw plenty of iguanas 😐. Needless to say, iguana taste pretty damn good lol.
