@@amyrose3166 That is the job of media. I would gladly die to get information out about G4z4 or somewhere I care about to my own people. As much as I have no love or empathy for Americans, that reporter is the best of you & actually cares about your people, as misguided & wasteful as that is.

Hurricanes are unpredictable. We usually know a week in advance but up until it actually hits it can change course. We had one completely miss us and went out into the ocean, looped around and came back and smacked us in the Palm Beach area. We were already taking down our storm shutters and getting back to work and the storm had other ideas. 😂😂😂

This was a tropical storm at the beginning of the week. In less than 24 hours it became a Category 5. Fortunately because of a jetstream of cold air it is now a Category 3. Unfortunately, it has almost doubled in size and there is not enough time for that cold jetstream of air to break down the hurricane completely.

They could monitor the heat of the sea... Hotter oceans mean stronger storms/hurricanes.

I work for FEMA. It's so unfortunate that this has got so politicized. This Project 2025 calls for the elimination of the National Weather Service. They want to get rid of weather predictions and hurricane monitoring.

Visiting the Daily Show reminds us that many Americans still have their wits about them, understanding that this government lacks future plans for the country, our economy, our families, and our finances. It's frustrating to hear all the talk about Biden's "confusion" when he's actively working on hurricane relief, striving for peace in the Middle East despite the lack of genuine peace efforts from both sides except for the families just trying to get by, and engaging in bipartisan negotiations.
