Hurry and Worry | Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Fr. Mike's Homily)  

Thank you for your dedication to caring for others at their time of most need. I've been in the hospital many times in the last few years and when I had a good nurse it made all the difference. Thankfully I only had a few nurses who were a challenge! Enjoy your retirement!!

They with ears to hear, let them hear: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit! Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry. Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. Oohhh…this is what I do. And the other day my friend and I were talking about Jesus saying “take my yoke upon you for my burden is light”. (From memory so word for word May not be correct).

Fr Mike is wise & insightful beyond his age 💗✝️ He is so passionate about what he's saying that he talks fast. I tried playing this video at a slower speed but it's not natural. I have done the looking for the shortest line one, but not because I was hurrying to get anywhere, just don't enjoy being in the store any longer than necessary. Also, I think it's courteous to make sure the lines are relatively even for the cashiers' sake. It wouldn't be fair for one to have a long line and another to be waiting to help someone.

Some days I just can't wait to get to my home, work is dealing with the public, but other times I'm more chill. ; ) I do notice how people will pass me often for just a few yards, there are lights all over, but the urge to get those seconds matters so much.

I’m thinking that when Christ became weary from his labors, he took his Apostles somewhere to rest, perhaps like a Jesuit Retreat?

Dear Friend, I think Father Mike is doing a good thing for many people in America. There are many things wrong in this country, including excessive hurry, excessive worry, and no one is slowing down to hear God, not to mention spend time with God. People are persecuting other people because they don't adhere to their lifestyle or what they think is appropriate -- excessive hurry, excessive worry, excessive everything, including extra large fries, extra large drinks, and $10,000 brand name purses! They don't care who they hurt or trample on to get their ways. This society is lost because they have taken God out of the equation. This nation is not operating under God's principles, they've made their own rules, and hence, their own god, and society suffers for it. They're making up their own rules and ideals as they go along, and miss the mark because they're not listening to God. Too busy making their own goals, their own agenda, and along the way beat anyone over the head that does not conform to their ideals. God didn't make us to suffer, we've brought that upon ourselves when we've strayed from God and His Words. That is, people causes people to suffer, all with the help of Satan -- Satan's works, and Satan's distraction. All the while people are sick and hurt. As mentioned above, nowhere in the world that you see people suffer more from mental illness than in America -- anxiety, depression, ocd, and not to mention physical illnesses. So yes, slow down and hear God. We should thank Father Mike for bringing this to our attention. I will also pray that you get this revelation and help make a better world. I wish you well.💐✝

As I said above and which I repeat again right now....... so maybe you can understand .......there is no reason to quote heretics , it's a bad example and there are plenty of reasons to quote good Catholic writers , that's why I don't listen to this guy anymore. I'm sick of hearing about heretics and seeing someone so uneducated he can't find a Catholic writer to quote.... Not trying to be picky but this is one of the reasons why the church is a mess when you've got Catholic priests reading in my heritage road and quoting them as if there's no problem with that
