Its a shame that there are no remixes from the Wario Land series in any Smash games - the iconic "Hurry Up" theme from Wario Land 4 would be the perfect fit for a frantic Smash battle, so I was very happy to take on this commission from CurlyDurian! Balancing the weirdness of Wario Land 4's soundtrack with the expected sound of a Smash remix was my goal - a drum-and-bass influenced style seemed like a good direction to go. I also incorporated the game's boss battle theme as a switch-up towards the end of the arrangement. And although Smash remixes don't typically sample character voices, I just had to make an exception for this one, it didn't sound right without Wario's iconic "H-H-H-HURRY UP" at the beginning!
