I'm pretty certain that evasion was a good idea at first, but then they realized it was broken and needed a counter so MKB was introduced. It would be hard to make evade work around MKB without being too strong.

I've never tired 1x6 but I've watched many of your videos on this mode and I'm quite interested, I like the extra effects on the abilities!

baumi, long time fan since the attic-like studio, could you like move the stream chat over to below you like before? its a part of enjoyment in the youtube ppl (i think so, at least) and now its treated like an abandoned child, as i have to dart my eyes between the games to you and back to games, no time for chat shenanigans even though i would like it

Re: BKB My answers were "like, at least 3" and "like, at least 3", so i cleared both bars. Did think that in true pro gaming fashion an op item would keep getting bought even after not being op, but i suppose a year (?) is enough for the changes to be felt

The simple solution to Pa's thing would be adding a percentage of "completely evading a physical attack", and working on balancing the percentage out!

I like evasion as an active where it's kinda just like bkn, but physical

Underlord might be worse than PA at TI but not 100% sure

PA's strength I always found was her first two abilities. She had a long reach as a melee carry, good for poking, chasing and initiating. Problem is the ultimate is too rng dependent as her E feels like a non ability half the time. Feel like her crit could go the way of sardars bash or Wraith Kings crit.

I think how PA could be fix is remove the active component from her evasion and make it so she acts like techies mines as she stay invisible unless near enemies hero or towers

They should add a thing where if your base breaks you also need to win a dual vs them with a 20% bonus and every extra its a additional 20%

First time I see baumi die by another player in 1x6 😂😂

With dota evolving, i think PA is in a good spot. This hero is one of the best snowballing heroes, getting insane value from kills mid fight, and having a complete toolset to kill almost everything. Before pa was a casual anti-mage/naga like hero, now it is more like ursa or bloodseeker.

I had to freak out and pause the video before you said the number. My guess is around 1000 bkbs. Just for players who get them, and rebuys for the counter to reset. I'm certain someone did that. Let's see if I'm right.

I'm prepared to be downvoted. Baumi, you are not entirely correct about the PA case and here's why. Her main thing - as it turned out to be for a very brief period between 7.34 and 7.34d - was complete elusiveness. You can ignore wards in Blur, therefore you can farm more safely and if you can farm more safely - you can get to a point where you reach the peak. Please consider the fact that PA's scepter up until 7.34d was still THE SAME OLD SCEPTER - 10 seconds CD for Blur, CD starts on cast, +0.25 vanish buffer. In teamfights you could get ~5 seconds of complete invulnerability on average - Scepter Blur, wait for CD, initiate, wait for vanish to wear off, Blur again, at this point likely kill - Blur again, if not then BKB. The recent Coup de Grace change also facilitates her proccing multiple crits in row. As soon as people actually started picking her more in 7.34 due to the crit change, the sleeper ability was discovered and promptly patched out because it was unplayable in Immortal. Lest we forget the Fan of Knives and Scepter kills refresh all abilities. The fun ended in 7.34d though. Edit: I agree on the evasion though, it is indeed not a great mechanic which may have outlived it's usefulness design-wise at this point. Also, let's stop for a moment and consider the fact that vanilla will likely be centered around a "balanced experience" more than anything else really. We're bound to end up with something plain.
