Yes!!! This set up is awesome for your personal home garage. My children pulled together and bought this for my birthday this month. I told them I was so happy to get it that I wanted to bring it up into my bedroom next to my bed for a week before putting tools in it so I can smile and stair at it while I go to sleep at night.
Thank you for your vid. The Home Depot I went to did not have the tool boxes set up for viewing. I purchased the smaller top and bottom that was around $200. Took them out of the box and realized it was the most cheapest thing I have ever seen. You would not have to worry about locking your tools up considering the drawers just break open with a simple tug. I ended up bringing the toolbox back to a different Home Depot where they had the tool boxes lined up for viewing and I seen the same exact model and thought the same thing to myself. For $300 it's a very nice find and I believe that some sort of bed Liner coating paint on it prevents it from rusting and scratching. This is actually a good box for professionals or beginners because of its size durability and strength and even full of tools it will roll around nicely to where it needs to go. If you ever wanna purchase upgraded wheels for this box, all four wheels roll and their heavy duty you can find them at Harbor Freight really cheap. Thx again for vid I'm going to go purchase tomorrow
Arm chair DIYer here. Just got mine on tax free weekend. I love it, looking for different ways to organize it. Note the handle can be mounted on either side.
I have the bottom half of this cabinet only with the wood block topper. I agree that it's pretty awesome! I'm on the fence about the top toolbox only because I would lose the counter space. The top split drawer also doesn't really appeal to me as I don't know what I would use it for.
I have the husky dont even bother with craftsman its just cheap flimsy and the drawers are hard to open it will slide your tools around husky is the way to go brotha lot sturdy love mine
To anyone still Interested in buying this tool box, at least the bottom cabinet, the bed liner on it is nice and rather heavy duty, but for rather constantly use, the tools move around alot due liner being slippery. I tried to limit that by adding some draw liner and once again didn't help much, once again because of the paint job, it still tends to slide alot. That being said for the price of the box its still a rather good deal. I bought it for more of a cheap beat up cart for mechanic work. I used it for about half a year now and its still holding up nicely. Only downside Ive found is the slipperiness of the drawers and tools moving around when Im moving it around
From the floor to the top of the first box (bottom box) is 37in. From the floor to the top of entire box (bottom and top box) is 59in. Sorry for the really late reply. I'll start watching for messages now.
How deep is the top drawer? The Home Depot website states that the top three drawers all have a height of 3.125 in., however in all of the photos I've seen online it looks like the top drawer height is more like 2 in. Will you please confirm?
The tool chest is still working great, no rust and I haven't seen any scratches. I keep it in the same spot all the time though so I don't have a lot of opportunity for scratches.
Well ....it is now September 2022 .....and I can't find anyone who is selling this assembly in Canada. Nice going "Husky". Home Depot has it advertised but they don't have any in Canada. Is that even legal to advertise and not have the product? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm .......I should investigate that. .
