It's nice of you to show us the process, but you turned off the camera for all the difficult parts, leaving us baffled as to how you removed the old filter, how you inserted the new filter, and how you clipped the access cover back into place. Those things are much easier to say that you did them, than they are to actually do them.
Microline says to leave the canisters loose and as water start coming out of the top of the prefilter, tighten it, then the same for middle/membrane, and after the prefilter and membrane are full, then open the water feed valve all the way and after a few to several minutes it should start coming out of the post/carbon filter and then tighten that last canister. Leave the RO tank closed and keep the faucet open and let water drip out for 2 hours, then open the RO tank valve and drain it completely. Once the RO tank is drained, then shut the faucet to completely refill the RO tank and the system will be ready after another approx. 2 hours for drinking. If you have the RO hooked to your fridge water dispenser, run a few large cups of water to get any carbon or sediment out and then everything should be good to go. Obviously pay attention to your fridge water filter too. I have my water dispenser running off the RO and the icemaker is separated and only runs off the fridge water filter. Hope this info helps.
@@Sean-HTR I booked this trip for 5/31/24 to 6/04/24 with my friends. We were really excited to vacation. But we very soon started to get disappointed. To begin with we decided to eat at ocean burger place and no one wanted to service us this was a common theme throughout all of the restaurants. Later that day we went to el Mercado and no one even wanted to pour us a glass of water. The food was terrible at both places as well. Later that night we found out the phone in the room was not working and it didn’t work for all 4 nights we were there so we couldn’t call room service at all. We would walk to the lobby to order some food to the room and they would say they placed the order but nothing ever came. We were also promised $250 property credit when we booked the resort & we never got that either. Towels were never available until our last full day at the resort, we got room service on our third attempt & the food was horrible, couldn’t even bite into the sandwich. To add more to it, all THREE nights we had reservations something was always an issue when we got there. First night they said we were already present at our reservation which was impossible because we just came back from our excursion. Second night same thing happen && they said “someone had the same name as me” & they were already there too. Third night we got to Sakura for our 9pm reservation & still had problems getting in & pushed our time to 9:30. All in all worst experience ever, one of my friends first times out the country & at a resort && it absolutely was horrible. Don’t wanna be all negative, shout out to Hector & Ramon. Their service was at least passing colors & respected their guests.
Have this system in my new home and this video helped a lot for the first replacement, especially for the inline carbon filter which hadn't been replaced since 2015. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! We have just had this system installed and the manual says we need to sanitize the system/filters before using. Do you have any insight into this?
Sorry for the delay in responding. I just cleaned the canisters with a little dish soap but I didn’t do anything to the filters. I just ran a few gallons of water through the system before we started drinking the water.
You can fill each canister about halfway with 3% hydrogen peroxide before you reattach them, which is less harsh than a bleach solution on the membrane.
Same thing happened to me last night and your video saved the day! Quick zip over to Home Depot and everything was good to go in about 30 mins. Thank you!
I just removed the wood screws holding the bracket and then holes all the through the door and mounted the bracket with four bolts and nuts. Never break again.
I needed to replace this exact hinge but didn't know what name to use to search. Came across this video with the link in the description - exactly what I needed. THANK YOU!
This video helped me a lot. I have a different Kohler faucet but that thin metal clip holding the diverter in place is the same. I couldn't remember how I fixed it previously. Removing that clip solved it. And I appreciate your other tips about removing the old part, and gently tamping down the new diverter to the right height so it seats properly. This is important as the faucet will leak otherwise. Thank you for all the tips. You saved the day!
You just get your fingers or a putty knife and pull the outside ring down enough so you can access the wire clips on each side. Then you squeeze the 2 wire clips to get them to release.
I have a same type of Kohlet faucet, and followed your video to buy the part, after replacing the part, it still leak. I think the reason of leaking is not that part, it is the problem of the rubber "O" ring which is above that part.
I love 70's ! Low production and nicer side vents and rear rectangular exhaust tips even the interiors are cooler than 68-69!! by the way is that a piece of gas tank sticker still visible???
Well ....it is now September 2022 .....and I can't find anyone who is selling this assembly in Canada. Nice going "Husky". Home Depot has it advertised but they don't have any in Canada. Is that even legal to advertise and not have the product? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm .......I should investigate that. .
I kept procrastinating on this for about 5 weeks, and now I feel silly after I did it in 3 minutes! 🤣 Thank you so much! This tutorial is really helpful and simple
