Husky Puppy Joins The Family 

She's gorgeous! In 1999 we got one exactly like her and named her Isis. She lived to be 13 and was the most amazing dog ever. She had a wild streak in her, like her wolf cousins. She dug holes in the yard. You may create a sand pit for her. She escaped many, many times under the fence or through an accidentally opened gate. They are wanderers. She didn't just shed. She blew her coat like a feather pillow breaking open. She ate rabbits and squirrels and birds every chance she got. She almost never barked, but she would howl when the train horn did. Her nose would get sunburned if she stayed out in the sun too long but she hated her dog house. You all are in for a beautiful experience. She can keep up with you no matter where you hike. They're amazing. I'm very happy for you all.

Omigosh....how the children have grown! Hard to call them children anymore, Daniel is a man and Selena is a young lady. Great to see this new addition to your family. Huskies can be destructive, so she will be a handful for a few years. It's so wonderful to get an update from you!

Congratulations! We have 2 Alaskan Malamutes. If it looks like they might have the devil in their eyes...they do! But they're worth it. Enjoy!

Absolutely fantastic! i have owned 2 huskies in my lifetime and they are my favs also! I hope you got a talker...they are very expressive vocally, just like wolves. Rogue is the perfect name. Daddy Brian has just a little more on his plate now, but also gets to spend some great time with the new addition. :)

That's so cute! She is really adorable. :) about 20 years ago or so a friend of mine owned a wolf and a husky wolf hybrid. The wolf was all wolf. Sarah was the husky/wolf mix and I adored her but looking into her eyes was a bit creepy. It was like she could see right through you and was studying you. :P - Heidi

Huskies aren't friendly lol Strangers are a no-no and wild animals as well. You picked a beautiful breed but not the most cuddly. Unless the american kennel club has a different standard from the FCI
