Dad's Reflect On Big Move 

Congrats on all the awesome life changes. I had a "long long term couple" to look up to when I was growing up. My uncle and uncle-in-law. I miss both of them so much. My UIL was always Santa at Christmas. He would walk up our long driveway with his full Santa suit and big cloth sack full of toys for all of us kids. I always knew it was him though as you couldn't hide those kind eyes. My dear uncle passed away not that long ago and it is still painful. I am brought to tears now just thinking about him. The real sad (and sweet) part of it all is that my UIL died within weeks of my uncle. If that isn't real love then I don't know what is. I keep trying to remember all the ways they enhanced my life and contributed to making me a more well rounded, kinder person. It helps slightly to deal with the massive loss I feel now that both of those wonderful men are gone from my life. Never ever forgotten though... - Heidi

I found your vids years ago. I was researching a possible purchase of a Toyota Prius, and came upon your review of your new car. Then I got the bonus of watching your family grow and the part of life you so willingly share. Thanks for all the insights and especially the love and emotions. Much of it mirrors aspects of my life with my partner of 30+ yrs. These are big moments in time, and I do the same thing as far as reflecting on it all. Many more happy times for us all on this great journey called life.

Awe Guys u made me cry!! Jay's comment that Bryan is still his best friend and the love of his life I totally teared up!! By the end I was all out crying. Been watching u guys for years and in some weird way feel a part of the family and last year when you posted about u guys having a rough time I kept praying that everything would work out and I am so thankful u guys faced the challenges and came out stronger. God bless u all as u transition to the new home and for all the new memories u will make can't wait to see the videos of what lies ahead.

Aw, love this video! ♥ Parting from that which is familiar can be painful because of the roots that we establish. Bryan, I'm like you, I'm even tearful watching you guys now bringing forward all the memories. All in all, I believe it's a great time to lighten the load, especially in these times. This will give you all breathing room and greater opportunities to plan and grow towards that perfect nest for just you two one day or become international travelers sharing your vlogs along the way! I can totally relate with you guys, I get emotionally attached to places I have lived with my husband for the past 35 years. I can relate to everything you all are going through. We made our big move over 3 years ago from our 2400 sq ft house we had lived in for 22 years, to a smaller, more rural home. It was life changing and so stressful. I’m still pinching myself every day to make sure it’s real. We actually love our new home and I know you all will too. We are also retired and it’s an adjustment, but one you’ll find easier than moving. Best of luck to you all as you proceed through this transition. Your home served an amazing purpose for you. Now it’s another families turn.

I just discovered you guys, but already I feel a sense of your love for each other and your children. I look forward to following your new adventures.

Missed watching you guys. Brazil is about to elect a vocally homophobic president, who made his carrier out of spreading lies about us. All the struggle you had (and I include your kids, who corageously contributed to it) against America´s fundamentalism and hypocritical fear-mongering. And you´ve won! The smile in your faces is to me a good indicator that you feel good after accomplishing your family goals.

I admit I'll never know just how fast you guys were able to move! Congratulations on your new home! Yes, I know what it's like to miss the home you left but as others here have said you will make new memories in your new home. Bryan, are you still studying Spanish? You were getting very good at that! Also, with Daniel moving on to college in San Diego in two years what might Selena be doing to complete her education? Maybe after the kids are older I can come to have a brief visit with you--I'll stay in a hotel. I get strength from you because I have bipolar disorder and OCD. It's hard for me to date as well. I don't know how you do it all! It would mean so much to me to visit you for an afternoon or a day. I am curious to know if your children were teased at school by other children about the fact that they were raised by two men. It's good that homosexuals can raise children, but I do wonder if children from these homes are teased by other children.
